Perfect for VBS project. They actually work!!!!

Oh gawd, I might be collecting compasses now. So... I bought this for my son's cub scout pack woodworking event, and then never ended up using it because the event was cancelled. However, we still will at some point this year and my kid and I have already used a few on other build-it projects. Like you should, these are small and should be kept away from small children who would put them in their mouths as they could be a choking hazard. Anyways, I checked them all and they were balanced (all read northern hemisphere, Magnetic North). Aaaaaaannnnnnnd I love them for all the wrong reasons too... like if you put your hand in the bag and wiggle your fingers, it's so soothing. Definite fidget toys en masse. They're shiny and the plastic makes a satisfying clacking as they should. Yay sensory soothing. Anyway, I'm intrigued by them even if I never use them for their intended purpose, I feel like I could just keep collecting them all... like DnD dice. Could I glue them all over a surface? Yes I could. I'm thinking about covering a side table with these for kicks and giggles. Worth it.

TOTAL CRAP - not oil "liquid" filled at all. Dry, Most of them don't work. Garbage. Returning.

I bought these for VBS. They were good for something small to play with and as a visual aid. Not all of them really pointed north and they are kind of junky. But for something where you need a lot on a budget, worth it.

I embed these at the top of the walking sticks I make and they're pretty accurate.

I recently purchased these compasses to use as upgraded tokens for my Lost Ruins of Arnak board game, and I must say they serve that purpose well. They are the right size and feel great to use during gameplay. However, I would caution against using them as real compasses in the field, as they do not always point in the right direction. If you are a real archaeologist searching for lost ruins, it would be best to look elsewhere.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these compasses for board game enthusiasts looking for upgraded tokens. I love these and my students do too. I was worried b/c some reviews said some of their didn't work. Thankfully all of mine did! Although I am not sure of their accuracy so I wouldn't suggest relying on them if you were ti get lost somewhere. That being said, they are toys, so I didn't purchase them with the intent of actually using them to fi d your way somewhere
