Great Track Pads - With the Usual Compromises
These are great at the track - much stronger bite, no brake fade issues when configured properly, and long lasting (got 7+ track days out of one set whereas OEM pads do not even last for 1).These have the usual compromises of a track pad: substantially more dust and potential for loud squealing noises. The noises fade after a proper bedding (or, in my case, after track use), though the burnished layer on the discs comes and goes depending on usage patterns. Don't be surprise if the squeal fades out only to show up again later. Mine often showed up after track days and then faded out again. You will see both of these problem with all track pads, so they should not be knocked for this. The best you can do is properly bed them in.

Good HPDE pads; not so good for street
Got these pads for my S2000 for this year's HPDE season. Here's what I think...Pro: Excellent stopping power, excellent pedal feel, good heat resistance (more than enough for HPDE 1)Con: Dust, noises at street speeds/pedal applicationFor my current needs, the HP+ are perfect. During my last track day, they didn't fade and stopped reliably lap after lap. Take for granted I am in HPDE 1, I wasn't going that fast. However, the HPS I used last year started fading after only 3 laps on the same track. Pedal feel is firm, and easily modulated. Stopping power is much better than stock pads (same tires). I couldn't find a single fault on the track for the HP+ pads. Now, on the street... They squeal, a lot, especially during light brake pressure. And dust. My front wheels are black after 1.5 months of driving, with couple of track days thrown in the middle.I am willing to deal with those for track performance. If you are only going to use this pad for street driving, HPS would be the better choice. Track, HP+ all the way.

Great stopping power, Unfortunately dusty and noisy
Installed these on my 2002 RSX Type-S. The brakes have great bite when you need slam on the pedal. I have these paired with Firestone Indy 500 tires. Unfortunately I have to wash my wheels weekly in order to keep them clean. Also if you brake about 30-50%, you'll get a loud squeak. Not the end of the world, I suppose dusty wheels and noisy brakes are better than having an accident because your brakes weren't as good.

gone after 3 track days
After three HPDE the pads were breaking apart. plenty of life left, but useless if they're breaking apart, crumbling.
