This house sign is bright, easy to see, and easy to install. I had existing wiring from a 50 year old house sign that had mini bulbs in it to light it up. After the last bulb burned out I decided to get this one. Very easy to install. Expose the wired below the mounting bracket, install the bracket (scree into the wall). Slide the sign down on the bracket just a little bit. Connect the wires (tape the connections with electrical tape to make more water tight). Then slide the sign all the way down and tuck the wiring up inside. Easy peasy. It's brighter than I expected and the ability to change colors is fun for holidays and special occasions. Plus it was built and shipped very quickly. I like that I could customize the fonts even though I kept mine pretty basic. It gave this old house a little modern flare!!! I would recommend.

I usually don’t take time to mention products unless they are really good or really bad. This product is really good. The base is a solid hard wood and the acrylic sign looks nice day or night. It isn’t inexpensive, yet neither are most of the house signs. This is a nice designed product for the price. The wife likes the slowly changing color mode, but I think for a house sign, a solid white, blue or green color looks best. There are many color and brightness choices that can be made with the included tiny IR remote without getting on a ladder to change the mode. The main thing we liked is the ability to have custom text and a variety of custom fonts. It was made and delivered in less than a week through Amazon. The seller was also quickly responsive to questions.Being an engineer, I note the technical side. Most people don’t realize the cheap address signs put in by builders don’t have photoelectric light sensors, so they stay on all the time. It wastes electricity and wears out the bubs faster. I note many houses don’t light at night from burned out bulbs.I measured our new sign to use just ½ watt and it goes off during the day, thus, it is much less than the average house sign that uses around 8 - 10 watts. Most house signs in USA use a 18 volt ac transformer, so this sign easily accommodates that voltage as its range is 12-24 DC or AC voltage. They did a nice job.There isn’t anything I can complain about, but the mounting screws were just a little short for putting into stucco. I’d preferred screws ¼ to ½ inch longer. I had other ones I used. Also the side screws for mounting the top frame where too long in my opinion, yet they work. Overall, a really nice-looking product and since it is led, I won’t be replacing expensive bulbs every year.

I've been searching for an LED address sign for my house the last couple months. At first I bought a simple solar sign but after two months of use the light was getting really weak. I bought this one hoping to be bright with dusk to dawn function. I couldn't be happier but my wife said it was too flashy with the bright LED and multi color. I bought the 12v version because I don't have an existing fixture. When I first open the package I was looking for the sensor for the dusk to dawn function but couldn't find it. An included diagram of the fixture would be appreciated. I finally found it between the numbers and back board. The seller was very responsive when I was having issues with the remote control. If you're having issues with your remote control, just unplug the unit and wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. I also had to use electric tape to tape the plugs so water won't get in. Maybe the seller could have include a longer plug on the sign so I could have run the plug behind the sign.I'll see how long this unit will last with the plug exposed on top.update 5/11/2018: After using it a few months, the LED started stripping from the wood and the actual wood cracked from exposure to the S. California weather. After a few friendly email exchanges with the seller I was sent a new sign with improved wood board. It's been almost 2 months since I had the new sign up in my house and so far so good. I still rate this a 4 star, but 5 star for customer service.

I really love this sign. My home was built in the early 70s, and the existing sign was falling apart. Reading through some of the other reviews, I decided to take the sign completely apart, sand it lightly and put a few clear coats on it. While I had everything apart, I added some conformal coating to the circuit board as well. In taking everything apart, I found that it was well constructed and the circuit board to drive the leds looks like it has quality components. Also, the led strip was attached to an aluminum strip, this should help the leds with longevity as it will keep them cooler. I absolutely love the clarity of the font and the brightness. I don't need my porch light at all! I've received many compliments on it, and delivery drivers really like it.It's been a few months so far, and I love this sign. I hope it last years and years.

I would have given this five stars, but I had to replace the wood back board that warped and broke into three pieces. I see now it has an aluminum back plate, which should make it bulletproof!

I had my contractor install - but it was basic wiring.It looks great and the LED lights are bright and you can see from the street easily.Looks and feels very high quality and get a lot of compliments on it.Extremely great customer service and fast delivery!

I love the way this looks when installed and illuminated! Spend the extra money and get the one with the remote; going up and down a ladder in the dark to adjust the brightness is a pain, but you only need to do it once. I would recommend this.
