STOCKINGS ARE THE BEST! - After being discharged from hospital after knee revision surgery, my post-op instructions were to continue to wear the T.E.D. anti-embolism stockings placed on me prior to surgery - on both legs for 2 weeks, then on the operative leg for 2 more weeks - 24/7. Well, that’s kinda difficult with only one pair! So I ordered these immediately upon discharge to be delivered the next day. They arrived on time so that I could remove the hospital-issued pair. The following day I washed both pair at the same time. I could not believe how badly the hospital pair unraveled, with stringy threads wrapped around the entire small load of white socks & underclothes. Over the next week, this pair held up through repeated wearing and washings. The hospital ones have practically disintegrated. I ordered a second pair to get me through the last 2 weeks. This is my second purchase of these stockings in a week. I have had several knee surgeries over the past 15 years. With full knee replacements, I was issued thigh length COVIDIEN brand stockings. I still use them whenever I travel by airplane. They have remained in good condition over the years. Accordingly, I would strongly definitely recommend these T.E.D.
