Fits amazing, snug and you can breathe easily compared to other brands like shock doctor’s boil and bites. It looks good and is not too bulky but thick and hard enough to protect your mouth.

Looks like it is for a small child as it is way too narrow for an adult's mouth. I didn't remove it from the package and instead returned it. UPDATE: since I forgot to drop this off for return after initiating the return on amazon and therefore had to keep it, I decided to give it a try, and to my surprise, it actually fits (kind of). So to be fair, I came back to update my review (1 star to 4 stars). I boiled and bit down to form to my teeth as instructed and the fit was actually pretty good on width (it fit better than the everlast, fighting, and title mouthguards I own on width). I will also note that it is less bulky than other mouthpieces, allowing me to close my mouth way more easily. BUT, the mouthguard is short on length, meaning it does not entirely reach my back teeth; so still too small. This may be an ideal mouthguard for folks with a short jaw, those without third molars (wisdom theeth), or those who would prefer a shorter guard due to having a sensitive gag reflex. I however, will not be using this for anything more than light sparing in boxing for two reasons: (1) I have wisdom teeth and a longer than average jaw and therefore this mouthguard just doesn't reach all the way to my back teeth, and (2) based on my reading of the information included in the packaging, it does not seem that this mouthguard is rated/tested for combat sports. I assumed that it would be because I thought Venum was a combat sports brand, but oh well... Hope this review helps someone

I really like this mouthguard, when I first took it out of the package i felt like it was soooo small, but after i molded it, it now fits pretty snug! don't be discouraged at first because i really didn't think it was going to work but it does!

I have only had 2. This one is way better and is comfortable. It also protects a TON. Follow the instructions to mold it, its pretty easy, you will be fine. Just do NOT try to mold it if it is still very hot, otherwise you will burn yourself.

The sizing for this mouthguard is inaccurate. I would say these are great for small kids (Size: Kid's) to teens (Size: Adult...maybe), but not for full-grown adults. I'm 39 yo and I purchased this as a temporary mouthguard for boxing. It does not reach my molars, and it's nowhere near my wisdom teeth. A proper mouthguard should cover all of your top row of teeth for adequate protection, especially in full-contact sports. The positives about this mouthguard are that the inner liner molds well around the teeth and gums. The carrying case comes in handy for storage and travel. A wide range of color combinations are cool. If it does fit properly, the protection feels adequate and secure. Again, if you are an adult, I strongly recommend going for something larger or more accurate to size. Would recommend for young kids.

Estoy muy satisfecho con este protector bucal. Es cómodo, fácil de moldear y se adapta muy bien a la boca. Durante los entrenamientos de boxeo ofrece una gran protección sin dificultar la respiración ni el habla. Los materiales se ven de buena calidad y son resistentes. Además, el diseño en color caqui y negro es muy atractivo. Tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. Lo recomiendo totalmente para cualquier persona que practique deportes de contacto.

He usado este protector bucal de Venum para entrenamientos y combates y cumple perfectamente su función. Tras moldearlo correctamente, queda bien ajustado y no se mueve, lo que da mucha seguridad durante el entrenamiento. La protección es muy buena, absorbe bien los impactos y protege tanto dientes como mandíbula. Al ser talla única, al principio cuesta un poco adaptarse, pero una vez hecho el moldeado resulta bastante cómodo y permite respirar sin demasiada dificultad. El diseño negro/violeta es muy bonito y se nota la calidad del material, resistente y bien acabado, como suele pasar con Venum. No da sensación de fragilidad ni se deforma con el uso. Por el precio que tiene, es una opción muy recomendable para boxeo, MMA u otros deportes de contacto. Buena protección, marca fiable y buen ajuste si se sigue bien el proceso de moldeado 🥊👍.

The short version: Don’t be deceived by its small appearance! The Venum Challenger Mouthguard marked adult/11+ IS THE CORRECT SIZE! The longer version: Initially I also thought I got the wrong size, and started a return ticket. After googling it I found a very helpful comment on the .com Amazon site. This is what Venum US wrote to me: “We only have 2 sizes for the mouthguards. The one you got is for adults. The other size is for kids which is for 10 and below. And yes, our mouthguards are small compared to the usual size. They are built that way, designed to be more breathable.” Using the instructions that came with the Venum mouthguard, and the tips from Tiffany’s post (to not bite too firmly), it fits perfectly. Conclusion: Despite the size looks completely off on first appearance, as long as the box says “Adult” and/or “11+” the mouthguard IS THE CORRECT SIZE - I.e. suitable for Adults and children near or in their teens. The Venum Challenger IS DESIGNED TO BE SMALLER than standard mouthguards to FACILITATE BREATHING, in addition to its shock absorbing functionality. More oxygen - better performance.
