Why are there 2 different fonts for the letter "a"?

Hi! I’m a K5 teacher. There are 2 fonts for a and g. This is because the “fancy” versions of those letters are how they appear on the keyboard. Students have to be able to identify those to be more successful when typing.

what are they made of?

They are hard plastic letters. I'm not sure what materials have been used to make the plastic.

How many of each letter do you receive?

Thank you so much for your inquiry! You get 4 of each vowel and 2 to 3 of each consonant. More commonly used consonants will have 3 (e.g. r,s,t,l). Please let us know if you have any other questions at all.
