This kit is a 3" tall tesla coil. This coil will wirelessly light up florescent, neon, and xenon light bulbs and also serves as a learning experience about circuits, electricity and science itself. The circuit comes preassembled on a wooden base so that right out of the box it will work. This kit is the smallest in our line of tesla coils which makes it easy for science projects and a fun hobby. Thought I’d take a look at one of these and glad I did!I am biased as I am a big fan of Tesla and got a great kick when I held up a two foot flourescent “bulb” and a few inches away from the coil and it lit up! (Background music-The Everly Brothers)It put out a little spark as well when I held a jewelers file up to it.I’ll probably get a larger one in the future and maybe even two more... Tesla loved the numbers 3,6,9 . A good item to help my OCD/ADHD Quirks, thank you Nikola!A nice intro to science for a young student. I’m not sure what else, at this time to play with, time for a little research
