Excellent resource for ESL and native English speakers who seek to go above and beyond...and still make sense of phrasal verbs. Great explanations, extensive phrasal verb list, and complementary workbook activities.

As a teacher of English as a second language, I find this book quite handy and useful both for classroom purposes and for students' self-study. It categorizes idioms by words and topics, and has some good exercises that allow students to practice the use and get a better understanding of each idiom. The book is well-organized, providing the readers with contextualized examples and explanations of the idioms on one page, and giving practice exercises on the other.

I'm very pleased with the purchase! The book is wonderfully organised, it has clear explanations for every practice unit and a number of practical exercises. I appreciate that all phrasal verbs are grouped in units, which definitely contributes to better memorising and mastering the verbs. What I like the most and actually was looking for is illustrations and exercises of a practical use of phrasal verbs rather than just their explanations.
