VR 360 Camera, OKAA Life Wireless Panoramic Camera IPX4 Waterproof with Dual Wide Angle Fisheye Lens for Android and iOS Black

This is a decent 360 camera for the price. I have several 360 cameras (the LG 360 Cam, 2016 Samsung Gear 360, Nikon KeyMission 360 and a few other cheap no name cams), and this fall about middle of the road.The app needs some work, but it's easy to use and connecting to the camera is simple and worked without issues (Nikon has the WORST app).You can't change the resolution but why would you want to, it's set as high as it gets. Only changes you can make to the camera's settings is White balance (Auto, tungsten, cloudy, etc). No ISO, exposure, resolution, etc changes.The build quality does feel nice and it's IPX4 water resistant (splashes). I would be afraid to drop let alone get my LG wet, this does better in that respect and it also out performs the LG.Compared to the Samsung Gear 360 it's lacking in image quality, build quality seems about the same, the app isn't nearly as good, BUT it's compatible with any camera (Android and iOS), the Gear will only work with flagship Samsung phones.Against the Nikon, it's not as tough (no other 360 camera is), not as waterproof (again no other 360 camera is), however it's app is WAY better, Less functionality, but it works for the most part. Still trying to figure out why it won't upload videos to Facebook or YouTube,but I think that may be a technical issue with my phone.The trpod it comes with is great, clone of the Manfroto pixi tabletop tripod, it's am awesome tripod.I did have an issue with the 1st camera I got and Okaa was great to work with, sent a replacement very fast and had great communication. Good customer service is hard to come by, why I gave this 4 instead of 3 stars. It's a pretty good camera. Good video and still photo. But the camera does not want to connect to the app on my smartphone (Android 7.1.1).* Update 10/1/2017 - Although not documented, to connect the camer to the app, make sure that your mobile data is disabled. It's a bit awkward, but once disabled, connection with the camera is no problem. I've been able to record about 1 hour and 20 minutes on a single charge, but it is possible to connect an external battery pack for extra recording.One feature I really like is that it works with memory cards up to 100 gig. But still images are a bit fuzzy. Looks more like a captured video image.With the app's current version 1.0.9, you cannot download the camera files to your phone's external storage. Can be awkward if you have a large video file. Otherwise, the app will convert the camera's MOV file to an MP4 file which is ready for sharing on Facebook or YouTube. There's a PC app to use for those big files.

This is one of the best 360 cameras I have come across! Also, the price has come down since I bought it. I use it as a helmet cam while riding my bike, and it seems to be pretty steady! It is also very versatile! I was able to set it on the floor of my newly refinished bathroom, and take pictures for the refinishing company that they can put on their website! For a budget camera, this is great!

I was really excited about this camera but unfortunately I had a bad experience.First everything seem fine, was well packed and working as expected. I recorded a few clips 10 min max just to familiarize with the camera and the features, the big day came where I wanted to record a wedding on 360. Everything was going fine until it reach 23 minutes after that the camera froze and I was not able to turn it off stop it or do anything I had to wait until the battery run out and during that time the camera was super hot. Unfortunately it did not record anything, it was a really special day and I have no video of it. When I recharge it it was working again. I let it record to make sure it will record over 23 min and bam! It froze again at the exact same time I had to return it because was not a good product.Update:So I return the camera that was not working, after a few months I decided to give it another try and this one worked as described, I did had a issue when I was recording trough the app the camera would turn off while recording and only ehen it was connected to my phone, after reaching out to OKAA they recommended to turn off the auto off timer under settings I did that and walaaa it never turn off again great customer service they direct me to the correct Mac program to view my videos, I have taken the camera on 2 trips to Mexico and Costa Rica and didn’t had any issues at all, camera it’s 920p I wish they had a higher resolution

App os poor not much options

I would not say that price is not friendly at all since the cost of camera is not as low as other consumers electronics products. However, the app is REALLY poor especially for a camera newbie like me. What's wrong with it? The connection between camera and application does not work? Do I deserve it at this price almost 90 USD?

It's so tiny and cute.I wanted a camera that can record 360 degrees and I was looking at the GoPro camera setup but after looking at the super expensive price I decided not to go that route. I found this little guy and was very excited because it was 1/4 of the price. So I have been playing around with it for some days now and I'm actually very happy with it. The video quality is very nice and the multiple resolution options make this camera very well worth it. Connecting via wifi and using the iPhone app was super easy to use.
