This machine loudly instructs you to remain calm and still. Haha! The lack of volume control and silent option must be why they're selling them so cheap.It's a good monitor, accurate (as checked with machine at hospital).The volume is very loud, great for hard of hearing. The numbers are big, great for less than perfect vision. It stores readings, great for less than perfect memories. It even averages recent BP readings for you.The on button has a bit of a hair trigger and it can take a few seconds to get it to shut up once it's activated. Definitely not something you should use while people are sleeping.You could always take the batteries out for transporting.The cuff detaches easily, which can be handy if you're doing repeat measurements as you can leave it on while you go about your business and attach it back to measure. It's also easier to apply the cuff without worrying about accidentally activating the REMAIN CALM voice.I bought three, two for work and one for home, and will probably buy more for family.

I have to monitor my Blood pressure daily. With my old cuff I was never sure if I was reading it correctly. Turns out I wasn't. My blood pressure was 194/105. That's asking for a stroke.So after a visit to my doctor I ordered this unit. I can't begin to tell you how easy this is to use. It's accurate with my doctors numbers. But the memory feature is a big help when I need to compare my daily readings to see how my Blood pressure is coming down with the new meds.It even tells you if those numbers are too high or too low. So it's good for those with less than perfect eyesight.With the big numbers, the voice telling you what they mean and simple instructions makes this the very best I've ever seen. I would highly recommend this one.

It turns on by it self and every thing is normal pressure even when your blood pressure is high.

The cuff is easy to use and stores easily in the handy compartment to the rear, directly behind the blood pressure machine. The numbers are big and easy to read. The voice is not annoying and can be turned off. The best part about this machine, is that every single feature is easy to access and understand. This is a pretty big set. Since it comes with both batteries and A/C adapter, it is perfect to set on your table or desk. However it is also portable and comes with a handy carry bag.

I don’t like that sometimes it doesn’t want to turn off. I keep it inside my work bag and I can’t put anything on top of it or it’ll keep going off.

It works great. The only drawback is it is very sensitive to touch to sensitive sometimes.

Compact and easy to place on wrist. The voice provides instructions as to how to hold hand as well as final reading. I liked the fact that it told me what my reading meant - for instance high normal pressure; normal pressure; extremely high. It also provided heart rate - all announced in a crisp female voice.

The cuff does not fit small to medium arms. It is 32 - 42 cm (12.6" -16.5"). The box says 22 cm - 32 cm for average size arms. My wife has small arms at 23 cm And mine are 28 cm, so the provided cuff doesn't work. I like the device though. Clear numbers and it talks. So I'll try finding a 22 - 32 cuff like mentioned on the box.
