The Best I've Seen In This Price Range And All You Really need
In the spirit of full disclosure, I didn't procure my chair through Amazon but, since I saw no other reviews here and know Amazon is the go-to place for unbiased reviews, I decided to write this one.I won't be going through all of the chairs features as that information is readily available on the company's website. For this reason I'll just provide summary information and my impressions here. The chair is full-featured compared to other models I have seen with a few minor exceptions.1) No heat - For me this was inconsequential. If I want heat I can add an inexpensive heating pad to the back area anytime but, personally, I don't want it.2) Leg unit is adjustable [for people of varying heights] but the adjustment is not powered and is also not automatically retained. In practice this means the chair depends on your legs to maintain the desired position once set. This is generally fine but when you feel like stretching out a bit [in zero G mode for example] you have to apply mild force to keep the leg unit extended. Again, no big deal for me. After a while I stopped noticing the small amount of pressure I was manually exerting to stretch out.3) Some higher priced models [Tru Medic also offers these] have built-in Bluetooth speakers. This is a feature I am glad my chair doesn't include. Built-in speakers in consumer products are usually of notoriously low quality and, since the whole idea of a massage chair is to temporarily escape your real world concerns, I prefer the total isolation of my noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones anyway.Performance:Simple. This chair delivers. I'm a 220 [ish] pound male and get an awesome massage using the chairs medium intensity setting. If you're a smaller male or female you may need to use even lower settings but I doubt anyone will find the intensity of this chair unacceptable.Styling and Aesthetics:We all have our preferences and opinions but, for me, this chair is elegant and beautifully styled. I have mine in my basement exercise room but I could see it in a living room as well. The soft blue lights on either side remind you the chair is powered on but, when it's not, it subtly slips into the background until you are ready to enjoy it again.Price:I had been looking for a reasonably priced chair of this type for a long time. Good ones usually cost much more. I hope Amazon won't mind me revealing that I found my chair at Costco. I've had it for maybe a month and have come to enjoy my evenings a lot more as I can now look forward to a great massage whenever I want it.Practicality:You can travel to a spa to get a massage. I've done so many times and have enjoyed these trips, however, good spas are not always in your backyard so the overall experience can be costly and inconvenient. This chair won't converse with you [as a human masseuse might if you prefer] but it is better in every other way. As an example, it can massage your body [with equal intensity] in several areas simultaneously. I haven't met a human masseuse who can do that yet and it also doesn't require or even accept tips.Bottom line is, if you can afford this chair, buy it! I doubt you'll be disappointed.
