Smells exactly like peppermint oil and gets the stink out.

I use it mostly on my knee pads and shoes. Give them a spray and hang them in the sun and the funk disappears.

Never write reviews on Amazon, but I have to give a huge shout out to this stuff. Bought their laundry detergent to wash bike shorts in because I was 1. sick of the wash ruining my expensive Castelli shorts and bibs and 2. done with having to have 5 or 6 sets for a week. It sounds weird, but I have had no problem wearing shorts for 3 or 4 or 5 rides without them getting at all funky, and I feel like I’m doing the earth a favor too by not doing a million washes a week. Anyway, bought a bottle of this stuff for my daughter’s smelly soccer shoes and it’s truly incredible. To other reviewers who say you have to use a lot, yes, you do have to apply it fairly liberally. But it isn’t just a deodorizer - it stops the smelliness, and LASTS FOREVER! We’ve used other shoe deodorizers and they work for a while, and they also have a strong smell, and then you have to re-apply in a few weeks. Not this stuff - spray it on, subtle minty smell for a bit, then no smell at all for what seems like basically forever. Truly amazing. Our kids don’t play hockey but I’ve recommended this to friends whose kids do, and they’ve also been blown away by it (and hockey gear, I’m told, is notoriously hard to de-funk). Check it out. Apply liberally and prepare to be pleasantly wowed.
