Nice variety of tools and parts. All very poor quality. For a couple bucks more, there are better kits out there which also include spare parts. Buy those instead. Have already broken two of the tools during first use and, because this is not fulfilled by Amazon, return shipping was almost as much as the item, so it wasn't worth the cost or hassle of sending it back.

I have a good size collection of watches 7 so far, automatics, mechanical and quartz. I have to admit I like my automatics much more (specially since those are more expensive) but I have a few quartz that I really like and were gifts from my wife.Given this I tend to do simple work myself, like changing bands, batteries and even a few gaskets ;)I had previously used other tools specially for sizing bands but those kept breaking and were a pain to use. This kit was a god send for this. The plastic square thing is made with a lot of opening to let the pings pass and using the hammer is much easier that with other tools this really really changed how easy it is to change or size bands I love it. I especially like the fact that the hammer has a plastic side as to not leave hit marks on your watches. I like that they give you some spaces and even a cleaning tool.All that said the brass case back removal tool is not very good quality, but it works if your determined. Overall and for the price I do recommend this kit.I also like that they included a good quality and good looking manual with some simple things you can use the kit for. Like changing batteries or sizing a band.

Pretty low-quality. Several of the tools don't really work.The case-back opener pry-tool is too thick to actually open any of the watches I've tried it on, a small flat-head screwdriver actually works way better.The small flat-head screwdrivers are too thick to actually turn the tiny screws that hold down watch batteries (this mystifies me, because the tools are supposed to be for watch repair, and yet they are less useful than my other mini-screwdrivers for this exact purpose).The hammer handle is too long for the case, so the case won't zip completely up.The tweezers are OK, but very flimsy and flex considerably when you try to pick up a small object such as a screw.

I don't see anything "professional" about this repair kit. It is cheaply made all the way around.

This kit has everything you need to do minor repairs to your watch. I got it to be able to change my battery and take since links out of my watch band. It has paid for itself already. The quality is very good and comes in a nice case. There are multiple sizes of pins to adjust any size watch band, and changing the battery was a piece of cake using the tools in the kit. I highly recommend this kit if you want to save a lot of time and money by doing it yourself.

This kit works just fine for occasional home use. I found the quality of the tools to be acceptable, especially for the price, and they worked for me in changing batteries on two watches that I own. One of the watches has a screw type back, the other is a press type. I was able to get both back up and running in short order, although I did need to improvise pressing on the one watch back with a couple fender washers, some cardboard (to protect the watch face) and a small woodworking clamp, as there is no watch press in this kit and I was not able to generate enough force with my hands alone. Their manual does recommend procuring a watch press if you are not able to replace the back of that type watch.I'd give this a five star review, but the manual, while nicely done and informative, has print so small that I had to use magnifying glasses to read it.

I was excited to get this kit so I could shorten then length of a couple watch bands. I am a 55 year old female and was confident I could do this myself and save money. The blue watch band holder tool broke within 5 minutes of me using it. The back of the handle broke off, the interior blue plastic broke into pieces, the metal tip bent badly but at least I was able to get two links off before that happens. I tried to use the other two metal pins pictured on the right hand side to get more links out but they just bent as well and I had to keep trying to straighten them out. So basically now I am stuck with a broken kit. Next time I will try a metal or steel kit instead of a plastic one.

I never found the time, when I thought about it, to bring my watches to a jeweler for a new battery. I took a chance and ordered this watch repair kit, removed the batteries, ordered replacements (once I knew what I needed), and now I can wear my watches again! The instructions on how to use the tools, etc., are very clear and easy to follow.When I needed to size a band, I used what I had in the house, but it was a struggle to do. Now, it will be REAL easy, now that I have the proper tools to do the job.
