The quality of this badge case is great. Unfortunately by badge is an eagle top shield, I have ordered this case 3 times. All 3 times I have had to return it because they sent me a case for an oval badge. I checked with the state, my badge is made by Smith & Warren, I will just have to get a case from them.

This was a nicer quality that the Concealed Weapons Permit I had originally purchased. It didn't come with a shield, but I already had mine and it fit pretty good considering.This is the smarter purchase if you are in law enforcement or Protective Services. The price was fair and I know it will last for years to come. Good buy for local Law Enforcement.

I am pleased with this badge wallet. I fits my shield perfectly and is about as slim as a badge wallet can be. My old wallet was like a brick in my pocket. It was like a regular, thick wallet designed to carry various cards, etc. I just wanted my shield and I.D. in a separate wallet I could carry easily. I carry my very slim civilian wallet in my front pocket. This is exactly what I needed.

This is a well made and designed badge/ID wallet. Real quality leather and a suede leather protector flap over the badge to prevent marring of the ID clear window. There is however one major flaw at least with the badges I have seen and used. The heavyweight badge mouning card is not thick enough to prevent the pin clasp from protruding a LOT out the back and cutting through the leather back side of the wallet, or at least creating a large sharp bulge. I used a thick piece of heavy weight rubber non-slip shelf/drawer liner (not the woven kind as it is too soft, but the solid) like you would use in a tool box and cut it to the size of the badge mount card. I slid it in behind the badge card with the badge on it and it provides a cushion for the clasp to sink into instead of the wallet leather itself. I don't know how it fits with every shield badge but I have a standard shield badge made by Sun Badge Co and the cutout is about 3/16" too short for the badge to fit through it once inserted. You have to squeeze one end through and slide it up until the other end fits through, then it rides too high in the case making it thicker. This is a hassle if you have to go between uniform and wallet very often. I used a hobby knife and removed about 3/16" from sides of the point end of the cutout and now it works properly. Maybe this isn't a problem with other brands, but my LE agency uses that brand.

The badge cutout was a little to big but in all honesty I'm glad it is because my badge fits flush inside. Also yes the pin will easily pierce the back of the wallet I easily fixed it by putting a thin piece of cardboard in between the pin and the leather and it's perfect. The cardboard I used was "included" in the package which is the reason why I'm my opinion it still deserves 5 stars. Oh and by the way to all of you complaining that there is no place for money or cards, it's actually a positive. You don't have to pull out your badge every time you purchase something off duty.

Seems to be good quality leather but the lie about the size of the badge this wallet will accommodate. It clearly states that it will hold up to 2.75” badge but it only measures for 2-3/8” which is a big deal when you have a 2.5” badge. Extremely disappointing and I have to return it because it’s not useful. Don’t waste your time or your money on this.
