(a kid's review) *by P***3 on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2014* I purchased Zenyatta about a week ago. She is possibly the most amazing Breyer I have ever owned. She is tall, even taller than Big Chex, which i was not expecting. However, her 17 hand height is shown very well. She is smooth, glossy, slick...but she is not glossy like some Breyers, the ones with fake-looking, thick gloss. Zenyatta is shiny in a realistic way. Her mane and tail are so detailed and realistic! Her marking, especially on her muzzle are beautiful. She came with no rubs, scratches, etc. I have to rant about one thing. Please note that I am 9 years old. If you think my spelling and grammar is too good for someone my age, then you are wrong. HER MOLD IS FINE. IT IS COMPLETELY FINE AND YES, IT IS THE SAME MOLD AS SEATTLE SLEW, BUT IT IS FINE, SO CALM YOURSELVES. Thank you. Also, everyone who complains about Breyers being too fragile for kids need to stop. They aren't. Maybe if you gave one to a 3 year old who threw it against a wall, it would break, but otherwise, they are sturdy and good quality. I play with all of mine outside, and they are fine. I will say, however, that the classics do break easily, as they are not such good quality. This mold is for a light-bodied colt or gelding. Zenyatta is a big, thick mare, famous for her innate knowledge of a dressage horse's "dance" moves, and her low, bowed neck. This mold is for light, highly-strung males, not big, Amazon mares. But as Breyer collectors, we take what we can get, so it's not a bad model.And of course, this is not a children's toy, or really even safe in a house with small children. Even if you look closely in the of light of her left side you can see her dapples. She has a beautiful blaze on her face wich is very crisp. She also has very beautiful hooves, she only has one frog in her hoof, she has it on her right leg that she is lifting up. She is on the Seattle slew mold and it is a very pleasant mold. I really recommend her. You will not change your mind if you get her.
