The case is a bomb shelter, unfortunately it's also been equipped with a faraday cage.
The case is built quite well, and I'm certain that my phone will look like the day it was put in the case even after Armageddon happens.Compliments:The built in screen protector is a combination membrane to keep dust and debris out, as well as a tempered glass element to protect against impact damage.The aluminum frame is held together with 6 Allen bolts (wrench included, don't lose it)The charge port door is remarkably robust, which is refreshing. Most phone cases I've had, that is the first thing to go.Complaints:The built in screen protector limits the responsiveness of the display a good deal.Regarding the faraday cage remark- I live in an area of spotty cell coverage. I no longer receive service in many places I used to. Also, wireless networks don't seem to reach as far with the case on as opposed to with it off. For example, wifi used to reach the bathroom at work. Now it doesn't.

WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS CASE
I was excited to get this for my phone, a case that is water resistant and has a protector for the screen. It did not live up to the hype of what the product offers. First off it is very heavy once your phone is in the case, although it is not to bulky. Nobody could hear me when I tried talking to them using the speaker, and it lowered the service bars. It was hard to use the home button like it should be used, it broke the volume button by constantly pushing it in. I would never recommend this case to anyone, not even if went on sale for a dollar. You would still be waisting your money!

This was for my husbands phone. He absolutely loves it! It is incredibly sturdy- which he needs.It is a bit heavy, but otherwise a great product.

Perfect for my very active son
This is a heavy case. Perfect for my very active son. The cover for the charger port did come off within 2 days so its not waterproof anymore but I was more concerned about ruggedness.

Don't buy this case.
One star is a gift. Built in screen protector? I've owned this case for less than a week. My phone rolled off my lap, fell around a foot onto mulch and the screen cracked. Brand new phone. Yes i should have been more careful but I thought this case was heavy duty. I was wrong. Don't waste your money.

great product,
Arrived as promised, fits great, keeps my phone safe. Quite a bit heavier then the phone, but can take a beating. I definitely will buy again from here again.

Cracked screen.
2 weeks after applying it to my phone, the screen protector started getting small cracks which spread across the rest of the screen. Right now there is a small on across the bottom and one that goes from the home button to the top, and a small one that goes from the speaker hole to the side.
