I needed something for his suede GirlDads and something to clean the rest of his fancy leather shoes, including several with a lot of white. I mixed the cleaner in a bowl with water and dipped the brush in the solution and then scrubbed. It took everything off and did not discolor even the white shoes. I sprayed them after with crep and then just wash them and respray as needed. Still look brand new. The suede haven't gotten very dirty but I've hit them with the stick for a mark or 2 and it did the trick. I will say, I think these brushes are too rough for suede shoes. I ended up buying the foam version of this cleaner which comes with a softer brush that's meant for delicates. I only use the brush in this set for the soles of my shoes. I recommend this cleaner to everyone who asks me how I keep my shoes clean. Just make sure you follow the instructions. After you scrub the shoe, wipe it clean. Do not try to wash the foam and dirt off.
