City Girls Grayscale Coloring Book (City Girls : Grayscale Coloring Book Series) Paperback – July 26, 2017

Gorgeous! I love the producer of this coloring book. His drawing, grayscale and line are fantastic. I have so many of his coloring books. However, I never color in them. They are too pretty to put marks in them. I know that makes no sense, that is what coloring books are for, right? What I do is photocopy the pages because I can color the pages over and over again.But for those who prefer to color in the book, you will not be disappointed. I colored a few pages in the book in order to do a fair review. The pages are sturdy and can be easily removed from the book. I use color pencils and alcohol to smooth and blend, so I don't have a problem with bleed through the paper. I have also started using watercolor paints (use more paint than water). Once you get a good technique down with spreading the paint using minimal water, the paint on picture will dry beautifully.You will not be disappointed with this coloring book or others by this Karlon Douglas. They are all beautiful and on the unconventional side. I have to pace myself because I would purchase all of them at once. :-)Also, you may know this by now, but if you don't, coloring is not just for kids, scientists have found that coloring is a stress reliever for adults. Don't be embarrassed to try. if you are, who has to know but you. However, if you are the artsy type and need some stress relief, this is an easy way to do it. It is also a way to connect with your children. My son and I color together all the time. He even likes to color Karlon's pages.Cheers!!!

You have to be more advanced to attempt to color these pictures quality is bad

Beautiful artwork that you can design into your own masterpiece. I would suggest placing a paper towel underneath the page that you’re painting. Sometimes the water and paint can bleed through to the next page.

I wasn't exactly sure what grayscale was. Now I know. It makes your coloring easy to shade and fade. Finished picture looks great.

Great coloring book, the images are so much fun to color.

Good content. Some images are smaller than the cover leads one to believe.

This book is hard to color in with pencils.. seems more for watercolor. :/
