A: Medical professionals recommend cold therapy for no longer than 20 minutes at a time, several times a day as needed. This is to prevent nerve, tissue, and skin damage. You can continue wearing the ice pack longer than this as it has an absorbent pad as well that is useful during postpartum healing.

**Q: What's the trick to open these things? The inner pouch just won't pop... Very frustrating...**
A: We recommend feeling around for the pouch of liquid inside and folding just at that area. Once you feel the pouch of liquid it would be easier to pop and shake around for the cold reaction to occur
