There are so many options for rug pads it was hard to decide. I chose this one being that it's a reputable brand. It is functional. Cutting it to fit my rug was easy. From what I've read it's best to get a quarter inch pad for a high traffic area and I was concerned that it wouldn't make much of a difference in how it feels walking on it but it's actually really great. There's definitely an improvement and the rug does not shift around. The only issue was it had a really bad odor. It says it's made of recycled materials. I'm not sure if that's the cause. My dogs were extremely interested in it and I knew if I turned my back it would get marked. Before I put the rug on it, I made a jar of carpet deodorizer with baking soda and cinnamon essential oil because that tends to deter them from marking things. I let the pad air out a bit before covering it with the rug and then I sprinkled that on and left it for a while and vacuumed it and the odor seemed to dissipate. Dogs are no longer interested, thankfully.

This is amazing quality! I was skeptical on a rug mat but it honestly makes such a difference. I went with 1/2” and love the thickness and the anti-slip backing. Will definitely be ordering one for every room as we only have area rugs and no carpet.

I loved my new rugs but they slipped so bad on my hard floors that I was going to get rid of them. Then this under rug slip was on prime day and I took a chance. I love it!! I will be getting more as soon as I get my room size rugs. The ones I got were for my entrances.

Love this padding under the rug in our foyer! Excellent quality, and it was fairly easy to trim the edges so they wouldn’t show. Does a great job keeping the rug from slipping on hardwoods. Will definitely buy a larger size for new full sized rug.

This rug pad came quickly and went under my rug very well. It was easy to trim down to size and adds a level of comfort that I love. It’s very cushy, without giving the appearance that something is under the rug.

I just moved into all concrete floors. Bought an area rug and realize the need for more cushioning. Got 3/8” padding with non-skid surface and it’s perfect. Had to cut two sides to fit nicely which cut well using a metal yardstick, sturdy utility knife with fresh blade that I changed after cutting one side (don’t be foolish and use snap-off blades. They’re just not a good tool for this job), and I cut on drawing paper tablet back: 18 x 24” dense cardboard. Overall carpet is ~ 9.5 x 11.5’ .

I’m so happy I ordered this padding. Great adhesion. Perfect padding. I had not only enough for my new runner but also to replace a previous one that was ill fitting. Very very pleased thank you.

Perfect mat for under my rug. Has rubber side for hard floors and can turn and use softer side for soft surface. I have hard floors so this mat keeps my floor rug from slipping. Works great. Also mat is made of recycled material. Easy to size with scissors.

We used it over rough plank flooring with a Persian Rug and it was excellent. It unpacks easily, lies flat, stays in place, and arrives very clean with few random fibres. I’ve already bought another one … highly recommend.

Excellent product. Exactly what I was looking for. Purchased 8x10feet. Didn’t need to trim. Fit perfectly. Do note that it is not made out of rubber or foam so it doesn’t have that “bouncy” feel to it. However It is perfect for a large or small area rug for thin hand woven rugs like my French Aubusson Rugs which is thin and slippery on any hard surface as seen in my pics. Because the rug is thin, this thick felt product provides the perfect amount of support due to its thickness and density for ideal cushioning and floor and rug protection plus the underside facing the floor is anti-slip. Makes vacuuming a Breeze and so much more comfortable to walk on compared to without it. I’ve read some reviews of people saying it doesn’t have the “bouncy” or “spongy” plush feeling they are looking for similar to those in 5-star Hotels. I’ve asked the industrial carpet experts and I’ve been told That What the hotels use as underlay are not felt but Thick Rubber or Foam for that plush “bouncy” feel. And those are also very much more expensive too. So if you are looking for that spongy feel than you should look for their rubber or foam underlays. This one is also sturdy and dense enough for me to place heavy furniture on it without spoiling the rug due to its firm density. Shipped all the way to Singapore in perfect condition. Wasn’t rolled but folded for logistical practicality. The creases And folded areas plumped out and flattened out after 30 mins or so. After more than 2 weeks of use in Singapore’s very hot and humid tropical climate. I checked if the Silicon anti slip side resting against my ceramic floor tiles could have fused or stuck together due to the heat, humidity and weight of the furniture, thankfully it did not. As such I have No regrets getting this. And will order again in future.
