Kitchen Tong Set 10.5-Inch Wooden Toaster Tongs, Food Tongs 2-piece

I was tired of either burning my hands, or having to pull out a fork to retrieve my toast, pizza or bagels from the toaster over. I found these on Amazon and thought I'd give them a try. In short, they are terrific. They are longer than others I have seen in stores - so you can safely keep your hands away from hot surfaces - and the heads are larger, perfect for picking up a slice of pizza or smaller items like an English muffin. They also work well with non-stick pans, and are perfect for grabbing pieces of chicken or meat to turn them over. The slight indentation/curve just before the heads also makes it easy to rest them on the side of a pan. I love these tongs, and I recommend them to anyone.

Got to replace some thinner ones that broke when my husband got a little too aggressive digging something out of the bottom of the toaster. Others were thinner and shorter - worked better for getting on either side of the bread in the toaster. These work fine but a bit too thick. I was thinking they would resist breaking better. A trade off I guess.

I really want to avoid using plastic while cooking hot dishes. I just don't like the idea of it melting and releasing chemicals into my food. While it's not as easy to separate boiling spaghetti strands as well as a springy-er pair of tongs I am willing to work with them. They are easy to clean - the grooves are wide enough.

These are as described. Work well for light weight foods and removing items from the toaster.

I like using wood cooking utensils and was happy to find these they work great a little shorter in length but still work well only wish they were a little thicker (wood)

My non-stick pans are safe with these tongs. True to form they won’t do any damage. Just what I wanted.

I liked them a lot but one broke. I wish they were a little sturdier

Very highly quality. My only complaint, these were way bigger than I was expecting, not a normal toaster tong size, more like a tong used for serving.
