Wonderful scratching post for cats. Don’t be scared away by the price. Worth it.

This was delivered as promised. However, it came without the proper screws for assembly. I had to go to a hardware store and find some to match.

While nice looking the base is not very sturdy and cat will not use.. Comes with a flyer that says you can order a more study base from Refine Feline. Why don't they just use the sturdier one to begin with. Have several other of their products but this one is not in the "win" column. Matches other items so I will keep as it all looks good; otherwise it would be returned.

Exactly as described. Yes, my cats ignore it -- but they're cats, after all . . . .

Solid construction that lets our kitties jump on it without toppling. Should hold up very well for a long time without looking messy or ragged.

I would give this zero stars But you can’t choose that - had to send it back The same day. It’s mock natural fibres - it’s totally plastic and is not something my cat had any interest in. Very heavy and also too big. I thought from the pictures it was natural materials - a miss-sell. Avoid.

What more can I say? One of our cats used to scratch our furniture, but now scratches this post exclusively. It's heavy enough so smaller cats can't move it (I imagine a decent sized male might). It has yet to show much, if any, signs of wear, even though it is used daily. Only downside is that only one of our cats uses it. The other cats like to scratch horizontally, rather than vertically.We bought a Refined Feline cat tree as well. Even though it, like this, was very expensive, they've proven to be of great design and quality. We've never regretted the money we've spent on either.Oh, and it gets mistaken for art!

I purchased this scratcher as it looks really nice, and thought it would look better in my house than most of the other scratchers you see on the market. It does look great out of the box, and easy to set up. Unfortunately none of my 9 cats will use it. I've sprayed catnip on it, and they get interested for about 5 minutes. I think they just prefer other scratching materials, like sissal or cardboard.

Love the look of this. I will admit it has taken a bit of time to get the cats to figure out its okay to scratch it. I believe they thought it was new furniture that they shouldn’t touch. Regular use of catnip on the tree has helped solve this.
