Tubex Combi Tubes have all the excellent features of Tubex Standard and are ventilated. The ventilation protects the tree from frost die back and is recommended for plant hardiness zones 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Anything north of Pennsylvania.

Must Have For Seedlings
Bought these after a forestry staffer recommended them for my seedlings. They are like miniature greenhouses for your seedlings. I expected to lose 50% of my crop, but only lost a few due to soil issues. The tubes definitely helped my seedlings survive and establish fast. I would not plant seedlings without these tubes.

well engineered, easy to install
I have used a variety of methods to protect native trees/shrubs seedlings from deer and rabbit damage. So far, these are the best, albeit a bit pricey. I have only had them installed for a few months, but the seedlings are doing great. Anxious to see how they look after a year or two. I use 5' lengths of 1/2" rebar to secure the tubes. Very easy to install

They work great.
Couln't hard believe how well they work. Planted eight pear tree in a remote deer plot. After all the drought the trees are still growing inside he tubes.
