Classic Material
Prince Paul definitely did his thing on this album! De La Soul most definitely followed up with a great sophomore album. The production on this is, with out a doubt, innovative. These cats were on another level. They are actually known for introducing the skit into hip hop albums. The credit should actually go to Prince Paul. This albums skits embraces De La Soul's difference in hip hop and their contribution to it. No guns, no drinks, no cursing , straight having fun. Cop this album asap if you haven't done so. My personal favorite tracks are " Let, Let me in " " Ring Ring Ring " " Keeping the Faith " , but the whole album is dope!

One of my favorite hip hop albums of all time. De La at its best
From top to bottom, De La Soul is Dead is full of gems. Brings back great memories from the early 90's in NY. I lost my cassette and CD over the years, and finally replaced it.

Amost a Five Star
The CD was in great shape. However, the jewel case was shattered.

Five Stars
De La is amazing, but this album leaves the rest of theirs far behind.

not the entire album...
it's important to know the reissue of de la soul is dead on vinyl DOES NOT include 2 great songs, "my brother's a basehead" and "afro connections...", as well as the kicked out the house skit. they were kept off to save money so the entire album could fit on 1 LP. this is an incredible album and it bothers me it would be reissued with 2 songs cut.

Splendid
Un disque absolument fabuleux. La pochette un peu abimée mais vu son âge, cela peut se comprendre. Disque en très bon état.
