I got my toddler a lofted bunk bed a little sooner than I should have. He loves it (sleeps on the bottom) and climbs to the top for fun (it looks like a clubhouse), but I didn’t feel safe leaving him in there alone at night. I wasn’t sure this would work. It did, and I am very happy. It’s one of those low lofts where the bottom bunk bed is on the floor. Perfect fit. Three year old who is very good at figuring out locks cannot remove it. Two thumbs up. It’s ugly (orange) and lightweight, feels like a durable, plastic coated cardboard, but it’s worth the price for the peace of mind. Sturdy enough. Safe enough. Good enough.

The safety door on my pool ladder broke. Having two toddlers that are pool crazy I needed a solution. This was just the ticket. It was easy to use and now I feel safer when I am working outside. I don’t have to chase after them.

We got this to put around the ladder of our above ground pool as a safety feature for our young grandchildren. It works great. You can’t go up a ladder. It does seem to me that just removing the ladder and placing it away from the pool would work, too. But if it makes mom and dad feel worry-free, it’s worth it.

I didn't dislike anything works great

This product did not come with the chain or lock. I was told my home owners insurance company that I needed a child lock on my ladder of my pool. We ordered this quick since it was going to be there next day. This is not cheap pricewise for what it is. It's a piece of cheap plastic with toe Velcro. I had to go out and purchase a chain and lock which cost me an additional $20. There was no way for me to contact Amazon on this issue since it was an automated response to just return the item. I was not able to return it since I needed photos asap. Very disappointed in Amazon

We have a fearless toodler that wouldn't care to Just jump into the pool. Thankfully with this he is unable to climb the ladder when we aren't swinging. Literally life saving!

This product is not worth the money. My toddler at the first attempt of trying it, was able to undo the velcro straps at the top, slide it to the side with the chain on and climb the ladder. Yes, we tested it! The product is plastic cork board, velcro straps with a chain and tiny lock. I would not recommend this to keep your child safe in the event they we're left attended for any reason.

This ladder guard is great. I love that its light weight, water proof and the velcro straps make it easy to attach the safety chain. As an added plus it keeps my neighbors 5 cats of my pool deck, because like who the hell wants that... right!
