Humidipacks work great
I live in a very dry climate. Even humidifiers in the house and office rarely get the environment the proper humidity for guitars.I placed the maintenance packets in the case with my electric and then one restore pouch. The case now maintains a 50% humidity level, and the guitar neck is now stable. I can tell a difference in the guitar.

Bring your acoustic back from the dead!
My acoustic guitar was severely dehydrated and the body had sunk to the point where the guitar was more or less unplayable.I purchased these with some hope that they may help but I was blown away by the results.After two weeks in it’s case with this kit the guitar had rehydrated to the point where it was once again playable and strings that had fallen almost completely dead were now alive again up and down the fretboard.If you have a dry, dry instrument before you give up on it these are definitely worth a try to correct it.Saved my guitar for sure.

Works well but +$$$ and do not last
Live in Wisconsin (near Lake Michigan) and humidity is ALWAYS a problem, both high and low, depending on the time of year. Started using the Humidipak system for my Taylor guitar in January '23 and have had to replace the three (3) packets every eight (8) weeks since. My Taylor guitar has the TaylorSense adapter installed and I monitor the humidity in the case (HC) faithfully. The in-case humidity never gets above 43% (avg 40-41%) and when the humity stays at 39% (red) for more than 24 hours I change the packets. The entire system, including the TaylorSense IS NOT cost effective and as the packet ingredients start to harden the packets are often difficult to position in the guitar following a playing session. All that being said, I will continue to use the Humidipak system because it does what it states it can do and that is the bottom line and hopefully, D'Addario will improve this product soon. I will update this review following our Wisconsin summer which is notorious for high-humidity periods. Hope this assists.
