This filter works great, but realize it works differently than paper filters. With paper filters I typically stir the grounds as they filter, but with a stainless cone it's all about the pour. The product and packaging are professional, and the instructions are clear and precise. Once I learned how to pour this is now my go-to coffee brewing method. Plus- no more paper filters!To pour: using a gooseneck pitcher, wet the grounds and let sit for 30 seconds to 'bloom'. Continue the brew by pouring in a tight circular motion in the center of the grounds, slowly, and avoid pouring along the edge of the cone. If you wash the edge of the cone with water, the water will run out too fast and your coffee will be under-brewed. The micro-perforations of this cone hold in the coffee grounds and the coffee that gets stuck to the sides acts as the 'filter'. DO NOT SCRAPE DOWN THE SIDES WITH YOUR STIRRER! There will likely be a little bit of sediment at the bottom of the cup like when using a french press.

I tried a few different filters and they all pour too fast or were just plain cheap. I liked one of them which had “ dual layer technology” but it started getting clogged after just a few weeks and literally just fell apart after that. This one is a single layer and I like the quality and simplicity MUCH more. This filter drips really slow and lets the coffee steep for a while which really does bring out some of the sweetness. It’s more like a paper filter because of how fast you can pour and still gets you a really clean cup. Definitely using this badboy for my daily ritual!

It's a reuasable coffee filter. It keeps you from frantically searching for Chemex paper filters when you realize there are only two left in the box and you know the world is not right without coffee.The product came extremely well packaged in a nifty round box, that will hold assorted kitchen treasures and useless junk that you might need on hand. The filter itself, I've had it a few days and it's made coffee in the Chemex with no complaints. I think it actually makes a stronger coffee than the paper. It does leave a little bean residue, but nothing to jump up and down about. I clean it with every use with dish soap. So far, so good. I mean, it's a coffee filter.

I'm glad I didn't try another filter first, very pleased! The small amount of sediment I would expect from any metal filter and it's so fine it doesn't bother me. Easy to clean. I hand wash daily and put it in the dishwasher a few times a week. Funny though I didn't check the dimensions and thought it would fit a size 2 dripper. I still use it as I can see through the filter so I don't overfill with water. Looks like a size 4 and I'm probably going to get a larger dripper any way so this will still work for me. I've use this for over one month.

Have only used this a few times, but it works great and cleans really easy afterwards. I use this with a Hario 02 red ceramic dripper and the Hario glass 02 dripper; it sticks up out of the top of these almost an inch which I was note expecting, but it still seems to work well, I just thought it would nest a little lower so the black rim would be at the top of these drippers.

Trying to save money by not buying Starbucks, and this is a great start. Way better than paper filters and eco-friendly. The taste comes out richer.

Surprisingly efficient and great coffee. I had my initial doubts but was I surprised. It fits my old Chemix coffee maker like a glove and is very easy to clean. Others have complained that it brewed slowly, but that was not my experience. Very easy maintenance.

The Dripton filter came nicely packaged with an instruction card. Great coffee with this. My coffee comes out richer than with paper filters. Clean and packed with flavor. The flavor is closer to my French press, withot that grittiness or leaving a mess in the sink. Follow the manual if you like a strong cup or you can play around with it and add more water for "normal" coffee. I prefer mine strong!
