Krebs Recycle 2 ft. Climbing Rope Dog Training Lead

I have to say I just got the 2 footer in the mail today, and I love it.I had a RuffWear Knot-A-Leash, which is similar, but I didn't like the 5 foot length, and felt like I always fold up a bunch of it when walking the dog. This 2 foot length is great for keeping my bulldog by my side, and you can sling it cross body when I want to let him run free, or you can wear it around your neck...it's nice. The quality seems to be great, solid stitching, and the rope feels perfect in your hands.I took off a star for the color "Cammo" not being exactly true to it's photo on here. The green definitely seems like a lighter Olive Green in the photo, which I liked...and on the leash itself, it is actually a darker Forest Green. Not a huge deal, except I was trying to color match with the dog's harness.Anyway, I would recommend this leash or any from the seller, as they are great, have great style, and will hold up for a very long time. I plan on getting the Rasta leash too, maybe in a different length for variety.

I just received this 2ft. lead today and have already completed 2 walks with it (7 miles total). I like the look of climbing rope leashes, and after pondering making my own, I discovered the Krebs versions. At their price, it definitely makes up for all the time and effort I would spend trying to make a leash as nice as this. My dog is rather small (a 30 lb. mini Aussie), so he does not stand very tall - approx 18" at his shoulders. However, he's very good at walking right beside me whether he's on a leash or not, so I really don't need a lot of slack for him on a vigorous walk. I wanted something that would simply fall at my side with my arms relaxed and down, and not drag the ground. This length is a perfect match for my height and my dog's in that respect.The quality of construction is top notch, but it still has the look of something that has been made individually and with great care. The cordura sleeve and stitching that binds the two ends of the rope together to form the loop looks strong and I have no worries about it not holding up.I should note that the photos do not make it all that apparent that the leash is in fact a large open loop, with the exception of where it is bound together near the clasp... so, where most webbing leashes have a small loop for a handle, this is essentially one large loop (the photos make it seem like there is a small handle if you glance at it).

Short enough to keep the your dog in check, long enough to jog or let the pup do it's business. If you want to take your dog off-leash, this leash hangs easily across your chest or over a shoulder. The bright (neon) colors are excellent for visibility.It's well made, durable and substantial enough you can get a good grip on the leash. I personally used this to train my dog to walk properly and take her hunting. It held up good and was easy to handle the dog with this leash. I also like to walk my dogs with the Cesar Milan Illusion collar using these leashes.The only thing I would change is the clip. Nickel plated stainless steel is only nice when it's new, it doesn't age well like solid brass. They probably chose the clips for aesthetics not health and rust resistance. Oh well, it'll keep well enough for a long time before it starts to rub off and slowly rust. That said, I wish they'd make their leads with either aluminum clips (carabiners) or solid brass clips.Long story short, it's a great leash and works good for big active dogs!

This is the perfect length for our 15lb dog for those times you want to keep your dog close. This leash is made of very high quality materials and feels like it will hold up very well compared to what you see in stores.
