A bit more than 2 gallon tank - STILL Works Great
Read a few reviews and watched a video review of this humidifier and found that it was mostly good. I like that it stands tall which helps the water disburse better and makes it easier to fill. I'd heard that some users only filled theirs once a week, that sounded impressive and would have been another bonus.I live in Phoenix, AZ and there are times when the humidity level is in the single digits, so for us we fill it once a day or we run out of vapor in the middle of the night and that is the most important time to have it running so we can sleep better. Running it 24/7 keeps the humidity level at between 35 and 45 percent. That is good for us.I have been using this one for about 2 weeks now (since the last one of another brand quit working). This is generally long enough to see if there is anything quirky about it. Our only issue is filling it nearly everyday but that is not a complaint - it's an observation. I haven't seen any other like machines around $100 that have more than a 2 gallon tank. The mechanical/electrical section that creates the mist comes off of the tank completely and makes it easier to take it in the bath tub where it fills much faster.Another important note is that both myself and my wife work from home and that's another reason we keep it running constantly. The inside environment of the house is much more pleasant with the proper amount of humidity. The biggest downside, other than the near daily refilling, is that it sometimes makes a louder noise and I think that happens when it is sending water from the lower to the upper tank. I could be wrong, maybe something else is making that noise. Either way, that seems to last only a minute or 2 at a time, generally not loud enough to wake us up.

Does its job well
My home is dangerously dry without a humidifier, around 20%. It's also very open, so single room humidifiers don't really do the job. I bought this to try with the expectation I would need 2 to cover the whole living area (roughly 900sqft) but have found that this is more than enough to keep the whole space at 50-55%, and I only have it on the second setting. It goes thru about 3L a day, so it can go 2+ days before refilling depending on how often you have it on (ours runs constantly).cons: it does make some noise like other reviews say. The 8L reservoir sits under the actual humidifier piece, so when water gets pumped from the bottom to the top it beeps and then sounds like mechanical whirring and pouring water for ~30 seconds. This happens every couple of hours. It does not bother me, but it does bother my wife, so ymmv. Also, even tho there is a window on the front, it can be difficult to see the water level. Recommend the manufacturer put LEDs inside the tank in the future, but for now this is easy enough to DIY if needed.tl;dr: some design flaws, but it does its job well.

Good product with a few caveats..
First off having 2 gallons to play with is a big help as anything to help limit refill visits is big in my book. Additionally, it's pretty quiet. The only additional functionality that I feel this device desperately needs is some kind of warning indicator that the tank is soon to be out of water. The narrow sliver of a plastic window that supposedly indicates the water level is impossible to gauge in low light like when you're about to go to bed.I'd say I've awoken to the machine running out of water/shutting down roughly 50% of the time when using this device in the month I've had it.Additionally, I don't know why most of the humidifiers on the market these days don't allow for plugging into a timer so it shuts off/turns on at set times. The reason is that it'll turn on(technically) but you need the human intervention to actually get the device to work..so it defeats the purpose of having it hooked up to a timer. So, net net, I like the extra water water capacity and that the gentle chime(water pump at work) doesn't interfere with my sleep. However, I find having to rely on the wafer thin remote to turn on/off the humidifier in order to extend my water supply(during the day when I'm in another room) to be a pain in the ass.Might just get an Alexa based system as even though they don't hold as much water the ease of shutting it off via a voice command and ability to program a daily schedule of on/off will prob make up for that difference.

Welcome, but overdue home addition.
For years, I have lived in dwellings with heating systems that dried indoor air as much as warmed it. The weather stations I've had always showed indoor humidity at the dangerous upper teens lower twenties percentage levels during the cold months. The little I ever tried to do about it wasn't effective. Then I recently became a guitar owner and beginner student who learned the effect of dry air on the instrument. That got me shopping for a unit. I found and bought this one which seemed large enough for my apartment living room and reasonably priced. Since set-up, I have seen average indoor humidity rise. It hasn't, except for high outdoor humidity days gone too far into the ideal range, but it has stayed well above the level that once triggered the "low indoor humidity" message on my weather unit. I'm happy with it; and when I tuned one of my guitars to practice today, I hardly had to touch the string keys!

Very good, noisy when the pump fills the upper chamber.
This works.A pump raises water from the tank (below) into the humidification chamber (above) and that is noisy, but most of the time I cannot hear it.It is easy to overfill and that makes a mess on your floor. It has a window to see the water level, but the tank is not lighted, and it is difficult to read the water level if the water level is below or above the window. When it is in the window, all is well. This is a case where you learn a bit and being a bit careful seems to work.As with all these units, I wish that when it runs out of water, that it would pause, not shut off. You add water then you have to turn the unit back on and reset the level and humidity.

Worked great for almost a year, until it didn’t
This was a great product! It lasted almost a year, and now it won’t start. Tried pulling it apart, cleaning, and it is dead! It was quiet and worked well in my large living room! Wish it lasted longer. Kinda bummed!

A humidifier that works!
I was so glad to come across this humidifier! I had a tabletop one that just wasn't doing the job. When I found this tower style one, it really does the job! The humidity is where it actually should be in my home now! My skin doesn't feel so dry anymore! I love how easy it is to program and customize what you want the humidity level & mist level to be. You can just press the button on the remote or directly on the screen on the unit. Its extremely easy to fill up, either by taking the top of the unit off or by flipping up the lid on the top of the unit & directly pouring water in! Its very easy to clean too! A straight up & down inner part where the water goes in so you don't have to strain your hands trying to get into crevices like other units out there! The only downfall I find it is does seem to make a loud noise every hour where it sounds like water is dripping & it makes a loud humming sound at the same time so if you are a light sleeper, it may wake you up occasionally but if you just have this in your living room during the day its not so bad! Even has a window at the front so you can tell when the water level is getting low! It can hold ALOT of water too - up to a max of 8L! So it lasts a long time before having to refill! I very much recommend!

Worth ALMOST every penny
I love this product. It is quiet, easy to fill from the top. I love that it has a large filterless tank that uses UV. I fill my (obviously clean) mop bucket up with water and poor it in, so it fills fairly quickly. The only thing that I feel is it's downfall is that I don't think it covers 500 square feet of space. My bedroom is on the larger size, but not 500 square feet and it struggles to keep the humidity up. I keep my closet and bathroom doors closed and run it on high mist mode all day and all night and it still is just shy of 40% humidity unfortunately, and living in Alberta with dry winter I wish this had just a little more power. I had to plug it in closer to my bed so that I could not feel so dry. I feel it would be perfect in our guest room which is a smaller space.

The flat mist outlet blows the most out and then drops it right back on its self.
The media could not be loaded. I would really love to know who the engineers are for these humidifiers. I have purchased 2 duds. This one , I thought, was going to be like my expensive one, that I love, but no. The mist outlet is ridiculous! The instructions say don’t put it in the corner of the room because of condensation, well how about masking a mist out let that propels the mist away from the unit. It’s not rocket science. If I have to MacGyver any more humidifier most outlets , i am going to try and get a job at the companies. Ha ha.
