Kizer Cutlery 4433

Mine came in blue as well. A bit disappointing, but the look grew on me so I kept it. Otherwise, the seller was prompt and at least delivered a product similar to what was described.The knife itself is decent. The grip is titanium and the blade is marked "S35VN," which certain companies have verified that they were providing the steel to Kizer. That being said, the blade is unusual to my previous experiences with that steel. The coating on the blade scratches quite easily, to the point where it has deep scratches from opening a plastic toy container for my daughter. The edge retention isn't on par with ZT's S35VN, actually seems comparable to 440c. And it rusts easily. It's confusing and not desirable. Plus it's certainly not a one-handed opener, but I did take a thumb stud off of a different knife and mount it in one of the holes. Problem solved. The design is really cool and the geometry lends itself to cutting deeply. It's not easy to sharpen, angle wise. The edge is unusually easy to sharpen but keeping the angles correct on it proves difficult.The handle is pretty, I do like it. It's not the most ergonomic, but looking at the pictures I wasn't expecting it to be. Everything is well fitted and solid, with an adequately early lock up.Overall, while I do like Kizer knives, they are all kind of confusing me with both their tendency to rust and only have sub-par edge holding. I'm used to a very wide variety of steels and have used enough to get a good feel for their properties. This blade fails to deliver.

It's blue, not green. It doesn't have the cool looking "crop circle" design on it. Instead just a silver color. Returning it. Only reason to give it stars is because it's S35 steel for only $100 and I like Kizer knives... Just not what I ordered.Edit: Item received is model 4433A3, not the 4433 that is advertised.

Great Knife! Solid slabs of titanium, s35vn steel. Rock solid, quality and craftsmanship is right up there with blades twice the price!!
