My review is really a bit of constructive criticism of this unit. First the high points and why I gave it 3 stars. There are several things missing. First, I love the fact that this is made to replace the upper backup tail light. It fits like a glove. I really needs a neoprene gasket to get a good seal. Fortunately I had some 2mm neoprene around and made my own. Second, It is relatively easy to install although it comes with NO directions whatsoever. Really? Wiring is fairly intuitive when attaching to a head unit. I mine this to a Pioneer AVH-4200 NEX. Third, The video quality is not the best that I've seen. Low light is passable. All units are rather grainy and this is no exception. The Infra-red definitely helps. If this is the best "lens" Sony has to offer then I they have some work to do. Fourth, a little more adjustment of camera angle would be nice but not absolutely necessary. Overall I like this BUC. The concept is great. Slightly better camera resolution, include directions, include a precut neoprene gasket and I would rate it 5 stars. Make it wireless and I'd give it 6+ stars. I'd say it's worth the money.
