I've tried the repeller for about a month, and it works well enough for any kind of ground dwelling pest. I'd originally purchased it to deal with squirrels, but only discourages them from being on the ground. It won't work on anything off the ground, such as when they race across the fence line or otherwise in the trees.So, definitely keep that in mind with placement and what you are protecting. In a plant bed or other area, it'll work fine. Just make sure that the device gets plenty of sun and that you keep the solar cells clean. (A little bit of Windex and paper towel work fine.)

I didn't expect this to work but it did. We had a family of ground squirrel eating chicken eggs. So we would only get 2 eggs a day. Day one squirrels left their burrow. Still eating eggs. Day 3 we have 6 eggs. No squirrels. Still hear them in the near distance. I hope this keeps working.

So badly wanted these to work- they do make noise, and I think because of the metal shaft that noise is more effective than other brands, but that just does not really matter because they simply don't do what I bought them for, which is keep away gophers. I bought 6 of them to place all around my yard with good overlap and they had no effect at all on the gophers which continue their destructive behavior.

This is my second time to order these. I have not seen any rodents in the yard where I placed them. I just added more to another area of the yard.

one of these I ordered in the box did not work. I could not find the warrant information in the box either. I put header under the sun for certain time and then connect the bottom piece, then I heard consistent sound for certain minutes and then stay quiet forever.

too soon to tell if it works. But what's your definition of ultrasonic - 400Hz to 1000Hz?

One broke when we tried to put in the ground and we are unable to use these not sure what to do next

Appears to be totally ineffective. Simply makes noise. Does not appear to deter anything as is claimed.
