The plastic is durable and appears to be of much better quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After almost a year of use, no issues at all. *by K***C on July 15, 2025* This is a 2-piece snap-on case. It's not overly tight, it has not damaged my MacBook Pro since it was installed almost a year ago. It's also not super thin, so if you like the slimness of your current MacBook Pro, this may not be to your liking. It does do a great job protecting from scratches, as I've accidentally dropped keys or similar into my bag with my laptop. Easy to remove. The black border around the edge of the cover creates the illusional of a smaller laptop. The rubber-plastic feet on the bottom help a bit in preventing too much sliding on smooth surfaces. Because the lid/display needs to be opened for use, the only part I've seen any mark on is the rear corner where there is no protection (see image).
