WARRANTY: Lifetime APPLICATIONS: PEX-AL-PEX Tubing is commonly used for radiant heating applications projects such as concrete slabs (wire mesh or rebar reinforced), thin slabs (non-reinforced), below the sub-floor heating (staple-up), sandwich type installations (between sub-floor and finished floor) and many others. Typical loop length for 1/2 PEX-AL-PEX varies from 250' to 350', depending of the application, supply temperatures, flow rates, etc. 300' is considered standard for typical concrete slab install. COMPATIBILITY: PEX-AL-PEX tubing can be installed using compression style PEX Fittings of Press type system (fittings, sleeves and tools) 1/2 PEX AL PEX tubing is commonly used for installing outdoor wood furnaces, solar systems, in floor applications and plumbing uses. PEX AL PEX is a tubing which has a layer of aluminum in it to prevent oxygen penetration. Plumbers like it because the pipe has a memory and stays where you bend it, a lot more like copper tubing.
