Works well, has a neat LED pressure gauge, and is realtively inexpensive
I have flossed every night without exception since two dentist visits ago, and while that has done a lot to help keep my gums in good shape my dentist suggested supplementing my nightly ritual with a water flosser, because apparently bacteria really sticks to the part of my teeth that are under the gums and even regular flossing doesn't get it all out.So here we have a water flosser, commonly known as a Waterpik although Waterpik is technically a brand name. This has a vertically stacked design to save counter top space and includes 5 nozzles. Three of the nozzles are identical except for a plastic color-coded piece, that way each of the family can use their own and you can tell them apart. The other two nozzles are special, one is a tongue scraper and the other is a pocket tip. A plastic case is included to hold the nozzles, though I think I would have preferred the ability to clip them on the side of the device. I think that would have made it a little more convenient. But with this case, they are protected from dust and other nasty particles which may be floating around the bathroom. The knob on the device also acts as a button. Press it once to turn it on and press it again to turn it off. Make sure you're either pointing the wand into the sink or holding down the pause button on the wand when you do this, because as soon as you turn it on the water will start pumping. Turning the knob increases or decreases the water pressure, and what's neat is that there is an LED indicator bar that shows you what level of pressure it's set to. I like the highest setting, but when using the pocket tip you need to use the lowest setting. When you fill the tank, you'll want to use warm water, especially if you have sensitive teeth. When my wife uses it, she just leans over the sink and lets the water spill out of her mouth. When I use it, I hold the water in my mouth until it becomes too much, then I hold down the pause button on the wand and spit it out, then continue on. I think her way is probably better because then you're not putting any additional strain on the pump by blocking the water from coming out.Once done, make sure to empty out any leftover water in the tank and either wipe dry the bottom of the tank and the top of the device where the tank sits, or set the tank somewhere else so the two pieces can air dry. Also, take the tip out of the wand and shake out any excess water that might be in the wand. Leave the tip and wand separated until ready to use it again. This will all help to prevent any mold from growing. We had that with an older water flosser and it was not pleasant. This water flosser works well, it's a little noisy but I haven't used one yet that wasn't. And $45 really isn't a bad price at all; I'm pretty sure our old one was over $60.

I like the fact that it gets all the little food ...
This is my first experience with a water flosser. I have to say this is a total game changer. I like the fact that it gets all the little food particles out and making my mouth feel so much cleaner compared to regular floss. It can get into the hard to reach places without trying to stick my hand in my mouth. The adjustable pressure is also great, maybe since I am new to this the default setting was good enough for me. Everything was easy to use and easy to clean.

Very weak water pressure, and CANNOT RETURN (No ADDRESS GIVEN ON SITE)
This had no jet power at all, the water squirted out and was not half as powerful as all the water piks I have used throughout my life. I cannot imagine how this can remove anything lodged between your teeth. I immediately packed it back in box, but when it came time to return, there was no address listed anywhere on the company site or on amazon. The lady at the UPS store thought it strange, said she had never seen this happen before. We could not return the item, and I just wasted 48 dollars. I wish I had kept the box and receipt but had assumed that it would work as the other reviews claimed..... I will take it to Goodwill, but guiltily because I know it will not serve anyone its purpose even at goodwill price.Maybe I got a lemon, but the inability to return

Average
To me 3 star is average. Water pick works fine but the rubber valve in the water bin leaks severely. I have to clean the unit to prevent the formation of slime due to being leaky every day.

Not as big as it looks we can't through one ...
Not as big as it looks we can't through one use without having to refill. Kind of noisy too. But it gets the job done.

strength on levels 4-5 is really nice but uses up water quicker
strength on levels 4-5 is really nice but uses up water quicker. with the basin as small as it is it can get pretty annoying having to constant refill. overall a good pickup but not great.

Every bit as good as Waterpik however
Every bit as good as Waterpik however, the button is hard to turn off with one hand as you have to push it fairly hard.
