Description
- DURABILITY & STRENGTH - Our barrel is created from a seamless piece of copper; others use a wrapped copper strip that reduces connectivity effectiveness and strength. Our translucent heat shrink tubing provides very high tensile strength that resists stretching and provides better protection against mechanical damage, vibrations and rubbing
- SUPERIOR WATERPROOFING - Our tubing insulation is constructed using a unique dual-walled design of polyamide tubing on the outside and hot melt adhesive on the inside. Our dual-walled tubing provides a waterproof seal that prevents wire corrosion
- BETTER CONTACTS - our copper barrel and high quality metals provide increased current flow and consistent performance, preventing wiring failures and reducing equipment downtime. Our thick barrel is 20%+ more than most of our competitors and ensures a strong crimp you can feel every time
- EASY IDENTIFICATION - Color-coded tubing with clear wire gauge imprints makes it easy to find the right size for every job. Choose the right connector every time by looking at the wire gauge imprint directly on the tubing or refer to the handy chart on the free reusable case
- PERFECT FOR ALL USES - Whether you are working on your boat, car, RV, home, appliance or science project, our butt connectors will ensure strong crimps, increased current flow and waterproof connections every time! Start making durable, secure and waterproof connections today!
QBRK heat-shrink butt connectors are adhesive-lined to prevent water from penetrating, making them ideal for the most demanding marine and off-road applications. The butt connectors are color coded to industry standards and come in an compartmentalized storage case for quick and organized access. This kit contains connectors that fit 18-22 AWG, 16-14 AWG and 12-10AWG wire. They insulate, seal and protect joints from physical abuse, abrasion, water, salt and other corrosive elements. Heat guns are used to shrink down the insulation after crimping the heat shrink connector to the electrical wire. Installation of heat shrink terminals is easy. First, select the correct terminal size for your wire gauge. Strip the wires about 5/16" from the end and insert into the crimp barrel. Next, apply heat directly on the heat shrink connector, working from the center, out to the edges until the adhesive flows. Allow to cool before inspecting and checking integrity. Choose QBRK and crimp confidently! Additional Details - Butt Connectors feature clear imprints for easy identification - 20%+ thicker than most competing products - Quality matte tin with 99.90%+ copper (vs 62% copper or lower in competing products) - CCC, CE, CB, ISO9001 certifications ensure consistent quality and performance
