This is what we and our Rottie have been looking for. Strong material, easy to handle. I will be able to stand at the door when it starts snowing and let her out the front door or back door.

This is the best lead we have used so far, we've had two cheaper ones and had problems with the button on both so we bought this one after the good reviews and the quality is excellent it's the 8 M one and it's just right as the other 5 M one was too short. The colour it great so it stands out at night. The only gripe my wife has it's a bit on the heavy side.UPDATE: Mine gets stuck right at the end of the reel all the time now it will not reel back in until I giggle it round, it gets me so annoyed 😒

Flexi leads are truly the number one best makers of dog leads, had several over the years, had to use an alternative for a few months until the flexi Giant was back in stock, sold out everywhere, the alternative was just a waste of money.Flexi leads may be expensive but they last, are safe, easy to use and in my experience the best, my last one lasted 9 years.

Really disappointed, had the lead just over a year now and it's completely ruined.It has been looked after, we have a 9 year old Lab so it has not been overly stretched to its capacity. At first I was quite pleased with it but it won't real in or out now, started to jam up on occasion and now totally broken - expected FAR better for nearly £40...Advise against this product.

Heavy but strong. I bought this for my working cocker spaniel as he enthusiastically pulls on the lead and dives into bushes and wraps the lead around things. I used to have a flexi comfort bought some years ago however I got a replacement of the same model the tape was really flimsy on the flexi comfort leads currently on the market and the plastic handle creaked alarmingly when my dog pulled the lead to full extension on the one I bought so I had to look for a stronger one. I went for this as this appeared to be the only sufficiently robust design/tape lead flexi currently have that could cope with my cocker spaniel. It is certainly robust although it is very heavy and looks ridiculously for my dog as it is designed for the massive dog breeds but seriously none of the other flexi leads were up to the job!

Flixi the only leads that hold vary large dogs..been a flixi buying since 2008 all used for rottweilers 1st one lasted from 2008 till 2016 truly amazing but the next one the 10m only lasted 13 months but then it's not for XL dog this lead is so hopefully it lasts as long as the 1st one I got in 2008
