I purchased this for my wife to replace her old, slow laptop. I researched the Neutab, Apple iPad, and several other Android tablets. The price of even a refurbished iPad immediately eliminated them from my consideration. Based on customer reviews, the Neutab K1 seemed like the perfect choice. The product arrived without damage and almost fully charged. It was very easy to get it set up and running. It is easy to use, and my wife loves the large screen and clear, vivid display. Connecting to the internet is very fast. We've only had the tablet for two days, so we're still learning about all of the capabilities and functionality. As of now, however, it has certainly met our expectations, and I would not hesitate to recommend this tablet to my family and friends.

I bought two of these tablets. I intend to mount them in two different rooms in my house to control my Yamaha MusicCast speakers and my Smartthings Z-Wave network. One of these two tablets works adequately while the other is horrid. The one which is adequate is slow but it gets the job done.The one which is horrid is what caused the 1-star review. This horrid unit is SLOW. It hangs up. It freezes and requires a hard reset. The speaker is almost useless (it works, but on full volume it is required to put the speakers next to your ears to hear anything where as the adequate tablet the full volume can at least be heard enough to know it is working and to get feedback from my Smartthings apps - it is not loud enough to use as an alarm.) I will returnit because of the lag, freezes and lack of functional speakers.The adequate tablet will work fine for my meager needs. The horrid tablet will be returned to Amazon. I remain undecided as to whether I should get a replacement NeuTab or buy something else. BB has a older Lenovo on sale now and I might just get it because I know it will serve my needs just fine.I would not recommend this tablet, the adequate or the horrid, to anyone because of the slow processor. The screen is fine. The NeuTab introduction video is all I watched on it (froze on the horrid tablet) but the picture quality was good enough to watch any movie (so long as you wear headphones). The file transfer on both is SLOW. The processor is slow. The touch screen controls work fine on the adequate tablet but freeze the horrid tablet.Is it worth a 50-50 chance for the next person? NO. Go with something more reliable unless you are willing to return and replace if the first one does not work. As far as I am concerned, that is a waste of my time and energy.Update 8/18/2017: I tried to install Amazon Kindle on both of these tablets. It installed but when trying to open the Kindle app there is a message about an improper install and when that message is closed the Kindle app also is removed from the tablet. I tried a factory reset, re-installed updates, the Kindle app and again, the Kindle app will not work on either tablet. I have the Kindle app working fine on tow different Samsung 7" Tab 4s (smaller processor, older hardware, older Android version) and they work great. I went to BB and bought a Samsung 9.6" E. All my required apps work great, including the Amazon Kindle app. The problem is obviously not with the Kindle app but with these NewTab tabletsBoth will be returned and I will avoid this company!

It's big, it's beautiful, it's light. I've not turned it on yet. I'm writing this review in order to get a case from NeuTab. I may append the review later. I got it because of the specs and the expandable memory. I'm hoping this expandable memory works, unlike the crap Samsung 7" tablet I got a couple years ago. Since I've only every used 7" tablets (aside from my Surface Pro), its size and light weight are impressive. When the case arrives from NeuTab, I'll return and add more data to the review. From a quick look a the reviews, I'll assume it's great when it works, but has a lot of 'infant mortality' that could be fixed with more scrupulous quality control at the end of the production line.Since I purchased this device as a value product, I'll not cavil too much about the moderate resolution, tinny speaker(s) and slow button reaction. Oh wait, that slow button reaction should not be when regarding the CPU this device has, but still .... value.

Excellent tablet at any price. It's a steal at $100.00. Display is bright and vibrant. Chrome browser is outstanding and any app you might need is available from the "Play Store". Only negative I've found is that it takes quite a while (maybe 45 seconds) to boot up initially. After it boots it's a strong performer and well worth the price. It's just the right size - bigger than an Amazon Fire and smaller than my I-Pad. I highly recommend buying this tablet before they raise the price!!

I originally gave this a 4 star rating raving about how much better it was than my kindle...I regret that assessment. It worked well maybe twice, then it got slower and slower until it wouldn't even function. I was compensated with a free cover for a good review (and initially it appeared to be a great deal), but I would question the great reviews now. I barely returned mine in time for a partial refund but was grateful to not eat the full amount for this dog. IMO, don't waste your money...spend a little extra and find something reliable!

UPDATE:Tablet still works great but I've found another issue besides the speakers. The screen its self is actually very prone to scratches. And the screen protector included is pretty much junk and almost impossible to put on without making it look all ugly with all the bubbles.So NeuTab, maybe include a better screen protector with the tablet? Maybe a tempered glass one please? Thank you. But still a great tablet!The tablet is a great size for the amount I bought it for and I'm very excited to explore what I can do with it. The speakers aren't that good, but I can hook up my Bluetooth speaker to it. I love the size and that I get a free case for the tablet.

This item was delivered fast and in good condition. Excellent, my 6 years old daughter loves this. She can read books, do her school work, watch a few shows, and listen to music. She really enjoys having something that is just for her to use. This was the perfect age appropriate gift that is also extremely functional. It is not heavy and seems to be the right size for her to handle. The screen protector comes with the tablet has definitely a con! The viewing quality is decent.
