Fog Lights BMW E39 5-Series 97-00 OE Style 528i 540i Z3 95-02 Roadster Lamp

These are cheaply made Asian knock-offs. The lenses are not well sealed and I suspect somewhere down the road they will fog from moisture getting inside. The recepticle for the not included H7 bulb is way off and requires a Dremmel or similar to shave the plastic for the bulb to fit. The good news is they work and look decent. You have to decide if it's worth spending 3-4 times as much for a quality set. For me these were worth the aggravation. Its surprising it's that difficult to make the mold right in the first place or someone bought all the defects and is reselling them.

Obviously you get what you pay for. They are made cheap. I had to reseal lens in the housing since they missed about a 1/2 in of glue and water would easily get in. The wiring is not same as OEM,but it still works. My biggest complaint is the bulb fitment; the bulb does not fit all the way in the hole and the clamp to hold it appears to be over-stressed in order to get the bulb secured since the bulb won't sit flush.

Recieved these fogs in the mail, and just finished installing. They seem to be decent quality and the fitment in the bumper is perfect. They look OEM.. and a hell of a lot better than my old fogs with shattered lenses. My reason for 4/5 stars is that the bulb fittings are not perfect; the Sylvania H7 bulbs I put into these lights are not able to sit 100% flush in their sockets, however they are still very secure and sturdy in their place. I understand they had only cost me $30 for the pair.. So I can’t complain overall!

The wiring came undone from the case insert and water got inside.

I ordered these fog lights for my 1998 BMW Z3. The fog lights work excellent as an aftermarket replacement for OEM Fog lights. My driver side fog light was cracked and falling apart and the passenger side was so weathered that you couldn't see from it anymore. You can't go wrong for the cost for these fog lights. They look awesome and work excellent.
