KEWAYO Submersible Aquarium Heater, 300W Adjustable Quartz Glass Fish Tank Heater For Fish Turtle Reptile

I had loved this heater and gave a good review since i used it for my turtles however discovered today that the casing around the heater had melted around the unit and upon taking off the casing I noticed the glass of the heating unit broke off. I bought this in November 2017 so it lasted till today March I had purchased 2. The other one seems ok but now I'm leery about using it.

Works great, just have to keep the turtles from pulling up off bottom of tank

Received item promptly and just in time for the cold weather. Using the heater in our turtle pond and it works quite well keeping the water at a warm temperature. Turtles are warm and happy.
