Perfect for a novice like me and for anyone who lives in an apartment!
To be honest for the price I paid as of 74.95 plus free shipping. You get all these nice gadgets and extra parts for your instrument (example: strings). The violin feels nice. I love it includes a mutter since I live in an apartment. I must have it on top adding to the fact is a "silent violin" but it is not exactly quiet (Dah is a violin!). How ever if you were to live in an apartment I would recommend it! I can't really complain too much. I broke one string but I blame my self since did not know the exact setup.My recommendations for the seller are the following: (I know, I know you want to keep it price competitive) but I found out how useful fine tooners are so if you aren't going to directly pack it into the package (although it already brings one fine sooner). Please put it in a bundle. Personally, if includes 4 fine toners I could accept it in 80 dollars or 79.99. I personally would trade off the headphones for the fine tooners but I already have nice headphones so take it as you will. Other than that some stickers to indicate where you should put your fingers, that would be nice (but not really necessary).The Stedman pro I underestimate it usefulness but woaa! it is now my wing man when I am trying to hit a note. (The apps I downloaded to "tune" my violin are complete bull $%@% !)Everything else is awesome the rosyn, extra batteries, the bow, the shoulder rest, the extra bridge piece thingy, etc...you get the idea.Carry on a good job!

Looks wierd but works great
Bought for our grandson and he is completely happy with it. Works just like he thought it would. He was happy with the extras that came with the violin also.

It almost seemed like it was used to death before I got it
I had to return this one. The backing was popping out, the strings would not stay tuned even for a minute. The chin rest kept falling off no matter how much I tightened it. It almost seemed like it was used to death before I got it. However, I got my refund back promptly which was appreciated. Wish it would have worked out.

Good Value for Entry Level players
The violin body and electronics are a good deal for the price. It has a fairly good sound and controls for an entry level player. The bow however is very poor. It collapses to the side easily when any kind of pressure is placed on the strings. That said, I would still recommend this at the price range.

Save your money
Piece of junk.The design of the pickup and bridge almost forces the bridge to pop out of place.In addition, the wiring for the preamp was caught in the back panel causing the bodyto warp out.
