Simple and clean way to germinate seeds
effective! Has been good for tomato seeds, less suitable for large or long seeds (like marigolds). Pleased germination rate so far.

Smaller than the ones I have used in the past. Having mainly used the 43mm, But 100% the Jiffy 7 quality I've come up expect in the past 14 years. Fast to hydrate and zero rot or mould after using 50% of them.

Worked surprisingly well
Used to start off sweetcorn and parsnips. Both growing well and have potted on into larger cardboard pots ready for planting out at end of April. Actually parsnips will be put out into raised bed tomorrow. Also stated tomato and lettuce seed again both growing well.Original disk is about 1cm deep and 2cm across, once left to soak in warm water they swell up to between 3/4 cms deep and just over 2 cms across. Start them off in small pots with other compost around them to help keep them upright.On the basis of the success I had with the first 100 I bought, I purchased this box of 70 as the 100 option was not available.Will buy again.
