Being the first to purchase, it's up to me to provide something for everyone else. First off, I've only done one lathe project (a slimline pen) since high school 30+ years ago. Take everything with a grain of salt, as I'm very much a beginner.The box clearly shows some quality control issues and seems a bit small to hold the tools. There was some slight damage to the inside, from the tools shifting during transport. Ultimately, the box is just a container and isn't intended to be a work of art, so I wasn't overly offended.The lathe tools themselves are a very satisfying length and weight, and the shafts seem very secure in the handles. The shafts are square pegs in round holes, so they may have issues down the road. The collars were well secured on each of the tools I received. Each handle comes with a single carbide blade, plus the two tools needed to replace the blades once they become dull. The diamond blade uses a slightly smaller driver than the square and rounded tip tools. The tips of each blade are protected by a bit of glue. The handles on the tools I received were unbranded.The carbide blades are of a less-common size, and frankly, the square and rounded tips feel just plain too big for the detailed work I'm expecting to do (mostly pens). As you can see from the gonk I made - using only these tools, it's definitely possible to create nice pieces using these tools despite their size. I may end up buying the smaller set and use these for roughing. You will likely still need additional lathe tools as these feel far to big for tasks like parting.All said and done, a great value for the $49.99 I paid for the set of three.

These seem like a decent carbide tool set. The carbide tips are coated with some kind of goo. The case is junk and arrived in pieces. No damage to shipping carton.

I ordered a set of replacement blades for the PRO set, I didn't get detailer replacements, I got some rounded diamond detailers instead of pointed diamonds shape which came with the PRO. To top it off you can clearly see the replacement detailer blades are shorter and round tipped. Will not be buying replacements through Vinwox again, will measure them and buy through a different supplier. Shame because the PRO set is very nice. I also don't want to bother returning because I'm tired of returning Amazon junk to UPS. At least 6 of the 8 blades are useable.

First and most importantly I really like the tools. They are heavy, strong and sharp. I would purchase the tools again.The issue is one came with a chipped blade. The company said they were in the process of making more blades and I could purchase more in a month. Wait what, I can buy more blades that arrived damaged??? All I ask for was one round tip, I didn't want to send them back and wait to be able to work. But now I have to return all of them and wait.

Sharp and good balance easy to use they are working out great for the ring turning I've added to my hobby list of things to do.
