The time finally came that I needed to replace the dot lights on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I wanted something with better visibility and started searching. Finding a surface mount, 3 wire light with a flat base was quite a challenge. I have aftermarket fenders on my Jeep, Metalcloak, and the area where the front turn signals mount is relatively small and a bit narrower than these lights are, from the factory but, with a plan in mind, I decided to give it a go anyway. The plan was... Cut to fit, paint to match. And it worked like a champ. I trimmed and reshaped the ends of the aluminum bezel, repainted them, applied some 3M emblem tape, extended the wires (soldered connectors and heat shrink) and I was ready to roll. It took some time but well worth it to me. I bought two sets, modified both and now have a backup for when replacement is needed. They're so bright at night that the signs on the highway reflect when the signal flashes. The ONE thing that could be improved is that the wires on these lights are much too short at about 6" out of the box. They should be a minimum of 12-18"

I installed these lights on my steel fender flares, (under and in. Work perfectly, and look 👀 great. Not noticeable in walkaround, but lite them up and you will be seen. Great addition to my TJ.

Extremely well build lights that are very bright. I used them for the front blinkers for an after market blinker kit that I installed in my 2016 Can-am Defender HD8 XT side-by-side. Not only do they look much better than the small 3/4” round lights that were included in the kit, they are much brighter and more visible. They were very easy to install and look great. I was very impressed with how well these lights are made, heavy duty metal frame and inclosed housing and, they put out a very bright light.

I installed two of these lights on the air conditioner housing on top of my camper for brakes and turn signals. This lets several vehicles behind me know I am stopping or turning. I like to camp in the mountains and the hilly, winding roads make it hard to see the original brake lights mounted down near the bumper of the camper. These are very bright.

I'm adding these to the inside of my truck bed, to help light it up. I own a 2020 Chevy 2500HD, and they have 2 built in the back of the bed shining forward. Ok, that's fine, but I want more light. These are pretty perfect for the job. These have an aluminum body, not plastic. The lens is stated to be poly carbonate, we'll see. These come with a plastic rubber gasket thingy....not the best, but with blk silicon, works fine. The hole size works best with a #6 screw, and I used blue Loctite on the treads. I bolted these in, not screwed in. I worry about vibration. Wiring these is a bit confusing if you didn't read the wire code in the description. WHITE is GROUND. RED is HIGH PWR. BLACK is LOW PWR, so dimmer. The wire is tipped tinned, but copper 18awg. These pull hardly any power, so I just connected into the current bed light power supply, and used too much stuff to list, but it's for future replacement needs. I sealed up the back of the wiring with sealant, and ran a bead around the outer edge to prevent leakage. Pro tip. Use a nail polish on the drilled hole in whatever you drill in. It dries fast, and will be as thick as needed to prevent rust behind these lights. Overall I like them, not super bright, but lights up well with the oem ones.

Needed to replace the lame single diode LED lights on my four year old Bailey Rangefinder caravan, which were failing one-by-one. These were easy to install, and plenty bright even on the lower brightness setting.

The lights are fairly bright despite being small. I installed them as extra reverse lights. You can use them as brake lights if you get the red ones because they have two circuits. One low voltage and one bright. UPDATE, August-2026: they still work well and the screws have not rusted, so they are actually stainless. My only regret is not buying two more, which I will do right now!
