Almost perfect
I bought this product as everybody else to save on the original (60$) Strike Eagle Throw lever. It arrive in 1 day, nice and light, made out of alluminum and really usefull/practical. It's not a perfect fit as it leave a little gap on the dent of the optic, but thight down properly ( really easy task) it is firm for any normal use you need it for. I would have give it 5 star if it did't arrive with a scratch mark on it (you can see it on the pics), really sad about that. Overall if you're not employed on the field, this IS the way to go.

Goid product good price great knock off! thank u
Ok, here is the deal!! I have owned several of the over priced switchview and vortex, but did not pay for them as they came with the slightly ysed scopes. There is no reason they should cost upward of 70.00! the heck with that. I bought one of these and I so nit care where they are made! 34.00 free shiiping is the most thry should cost anyways!! greedy people charge too much!! you have to have your head examined if you pay more than 34.00 with free shipping! thats fair price. besides all the scopes that are over 250-300 should come with one of these, like sun ahades ahould come on all big power scopes. just add it in the price.. btw: i just bought another, and im going to see if they make them fof my other dozen scopes.. I was so PO at the high pig prices that I used big black wire ties for a ling time! and these are not over long just right. When I get paid American wages again someday then I'll buy American. I and many of my friends have been paid Chinese wages for many years now good for you lone star go get em!!!

A MUST HAVE for 3-GUN!
The media could not be loaded. I put this on my 3-Gun rifle, so my rifle & optic get tossed into barrels and abused on the regular at matches. Looks and feels high quality. If you're competing, you want 100% dependable gear. I don't want some cheap throw lever flying off my optic as i'm running and switching from 6 power to 1 power on a stage. It fits my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 exactly as expected. I had NO issue with the screws coming out to install, or going in to fasten, as some other reviewers mentioned. In the video I actually forgot to power down the scope transitioning from far steel to close paper, so I throw it down to 1 on the fly, the big lever makes it easy to catch and my hand never misses it. I am NOT sponsored by Lone Star Precision or Vortex, I bought this throw lever at full price.

Poor fitment, will fail.
The fit of the Lone Star throw lever was less than satisfying. It leaves too much room between the existing raised notch on the scope and the groove on the lever. It could shift back and forth if not secured enough, which brings me to the biggest problem. The puzzle piece is such a poor fit that it appears it is going to pull itself apart and fall off of my scope. It looks like the two pieces have way too much tolerance between them that I would believe they were made by two different companies in two different countries and then put in the package. If I loosen it the lever will move around when changing the zoom. If I tighten it any more it will certainly come apart. Either the female end is too big or the male end is too small. They dont match.I have zero expectations that this is reliable to use on a self defense weapon. The price of the Lone Star throw lever was tolerable compared to other throw levers. Unfortunately I could not recommend this product to anybody.

It works.
It works and for the price it's good. As one of the other reviews showed in pictures the scope notch and the throw lever are not a tight fit so it would slide when adjusting. I took a cut piece of wire shrink tube and filled the gap and now no more sliding. 1 star off for this issue but I would stll recommand this product if you don't want to spend double the $$ for other brands.

Good, inexpensive alternative!
Ok, so I’m a throw-lever noob. “Easy to install” gets a 4 because the first step in the instructions isn’t “completely unscrew retaining screw”; took me a few to figure out how to get the darn thing on the scope. But it’s all metal and should hold up well. I’m guessing people who have trouble have over-tightened the screw. A secondary problem might be buying the wrong size ring. Apparently there were two sizes of Strike Eagle during it’s lifetime. A small group of SE’s may need a 42mm ring (I hope I remember that correctly). To make sure this one is correct just take calipers to it before you buy.Yes, I would buy this item again!Edit: I DID buy this item again!

Not precise fit but it works.
Not a precise fit for the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24.It does allow for installation but you may have to fill the small gap in it.I used a small piece of cloth. Not many level for the price will fit, but it works.

It won't work and you will have wasted $40. Probably my fault for thinking it could ...
I am updating my review on this product because even though it was my fault trying to make it fit to a scope similar to but not a Strike Eagle, when Lone Star Precision read my review, they contacted me. What wonderful, unexpected customer service! LSP lives up to their customer service pledge, even for dummies like me!Don't try and modify it to fit any similar scope . . . It won't work and you will have wasted $40. Probably my fault for thinking it could be easily modified with a little filing to fit the adjustment nub on scope similar to Strike Eagle, but the thing just fell apart . . .
