We have had other mechanical door locks but so far I think this is going to be one that lasts. We have had it installed for over a month and because of the way it works I do not see it breaking. It is solid and a pretty simple mechanism for how it works. I was concerned with having to lift the handle to make it lock again but it has not been an issue. I do wish the numbers were bigger and a different color so they stood out, I memorized the pattern more than the number combination and that works just fine.

This performs as expected. It's a mechanical lock set and acts much like a tumbler padlock-- meaning that you select pins and press buttons to unlock it. To lock it, you simply pick up on the handle. It's not complicated, but it's also not a slick digital item that you see on houses today. It does exactly what it says it will do.

nice and the good thing, it works with NO batteries, the only down side; is that to get it looked again; the handle has to get lifted and sometime this can be an issue :(

We never got it to work. It basically is a $60 handle. Not once did we get the dang thing to lock! Spend the extra money for the kwickset. Couldn't get a refund because we messed with it for 30 days trying to make it work. Never again

I returned this item. It just wasn't right for me.

Really easy to use and convenient for outdoor gates. Nice product and it handles well in the worst weather condition.

Weld broke on handle after 5 months of use.

It works like it's sapose to. I've had this one for a few months
