I'm a lifelong chocolate freak and this is hands-down the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted. I discovered this brand while living abroad in Germany; Hachez is consistently incredible across their lineup but this 55.5% Venezuelan milk chocolate in particular is the most exquisite chocolate you will ever experience. Rich and smooth with the intense flavor of a dark chocolate, but balanced by a restrained bitterness and juuust enough creamy sweetness to satisfy a milk chocolate lover's palate. Since the US lacks diplomatic relations with Venezuela, this German-made bar of forbidden cocoa de Maracaibo is essentially laundered chocolate, comparable to a cuban cigar in its rarity and even more exquisite in its forbidden pleasure, but totally legal! If you're looking for chocolate nirvana, friend this is it. If you pay anything less than your firstborn to experience it, you've made a good deal.
