Amazing!!!
Thank you so much!! At apple store they do not do the screen replacement, at any other store is from $150 to $250 to repair. Last week I tried the same with my iPhone (yes, I am always breaking my electronics) and it worked. So today I tried with my iPad and it is working perfectly!! I had to watch a YouTube video to be able to do that, but The screen is perfect and I am really glad for that. Besides that, I learned about what is inside the Apple electronics and that is super nice too. When I need it, I will buy with you again!! Thank you guys!!

The digitizer has dead zones, the adhesive doesn't last.
Using this digitizer has been meet with much frustration. The installation went fine (it isn't simple, but that not the product's fault--it's just the nature of the iPad design). Here's the low-down:Installation:There are many good tutorials online for getting the job done. The product fits perfectly, which made me hopeful. This isn't my first rodeo with fixing broken screens.Unfortunately, this is where the positive experience ended.Usability:I was disappointed to find the digitizer was not very responsive. There is a noticeable lag between the time the screen is touched, and the iPad responds. It makes for a frustrating experience interacting with the tablet. When using either an active or passive stylus, it is very noticeably off target. Sometimes by half an inch or more. This is true of using a finger as well (obviously), especially toward the center of the digitizer. It is practically impossible to interact with buttons and other UI controls when they are there in that location. If the on-screen keyboard "keys" weren't as big as they are, it would probably also be unusable. As a concrete example, if you go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings, it is impossible to select "Backup Then Erase" from the prompt in portrait mode. It registers as having touched the "Erase Now" option below.Material Quality:The adhesive does not last. After only a couple months, the digitizer is no longer adhering to the chassis. I was very meticulous about removing the old glue, scraping every last bit and then detailing with rubbing alcohol. It was spotless. Clean. Free of all debris. Yet the new screen will not stay in place.

2HR Process
So there’s no instructions with this guy, had to go off of YouTube video but I got it done and it works great! Would definitely recommend also using somewhat of a plaster/putty spatula because I COULDN’T get the glass off with the tools provided. I also went ahead and added double sided tape along the edge to really hold the screen in place. The only reason I won’t give this product 5 stars is because the durability of the home button is questionable. If you press on the edges of the home button it can get stuck at a slight angle. I almost didn’t notice it until I was testing the screen for a second time. My recommendation for this issue would be limit the use of the button by implementing the AssistiveTouch option under accessibility or making sure you’re pressing down evenly on the button each time.

Good replacement
So far it’s working well. Definitely look up an instructional video on YouTube first. The screen is basically glued down. The tools provided were not enough to complete the replacement so I docked a star. While removing the cracked screen I had to also replace the WiFi antenna. You have to be very careful when removing the glass because all 3 antennas (if it’s 3G+WIFI) are glued to the glass. A heat gun is needed for this project. I will update this review if anything goes wrong.

Work as it states. Hope it will last long enough.Update: this device is used solely for my autistic son as a speaking device. After almost 1 year and 5 months of use, there is a striped area of touch screen closing home bottom stop responding. Consider the price, I am still happy with the purchase but wish it would last a bit longer.

Good product at a good price
Came with tools to install and was a perfect fit. The Phillips screwdriver did not fit the screws very well but I had my own set of micro screwdrivers. No instructions but there are numerous DIY videos on YouTube that are very good and easy to follow. I’d replaced some iPhone screens before but this was my first iPad. Everything fit and worked perfectly.

Was good while it lasted
Great and easy to install (I have done it before) but I bought in October and the screen stopped recognizing touch in January so I am not happy about that

Quality
Poor quality, blue line down the side of one and strip of grey at the bottom of other screen.
