Seals quite tightly and takes a little bit of effort for it to snap into place. This seals great on our Ultra 6 Instant Pot (6-quart). As you can see in the video, it holds a full pot of water even when fully inverted and does not leak!Can't say anything about the sealing ring as it's just a backup but it looks identical to the one we currently have on our lid.

LID: After watching another reviewer fill their inner pot with water, secure this lid and turn it upside down with no leakage - I knew this was the lid for me! The only thing is that remember is you do have to manipulate the lid around the edge since it's such a tight seal. If the pot is hot, this can be challenging. For frig or travel storage, this is the best solution for my family. However, if you just wanted a lid to cover the top while allowing for easy access while serving food - a glass top with a handle would be a much better choice.Sealing Ring: The sealing ring appears to be identical to the factory ring included with my 6qt instant pot. It pressed onto the sealing ring rack with the same amount of resistance, and has the same four notches in the same spots as the original (see the attached photos). Note the three pictures of the sealing rings show the two sealing rings stacked on top of each other, another where they are slightly off set and the last shows it inserted into the 6qt DUO v2 lid for reference.

Received my order on time w/no damage. Silicone cover feels like heavy, quality construction (definitely not plastic). I tried the silicon sealing ring on my next Instant Pot meal; the ring fit perfectly inside the lid. I had no problems bringing food up to pressure with the new ring. My old ring wore out after 11 months - time to get a new one. I'll use the silicone lid to cover the pot for transport or storing leftovers in the refrigerator. I would definitely recommend this to anyone owning an Instant Pot 6qt cooker.

Can be laid on top of the pot loosely while slow cooking. Seals tightly for transport or refrigerating the contents (be careful, though, as a full pot probably wouldn't cool fast enough to be safe, but for marinating or refrigerating less than 1/2 a pot of leftovers, it would be fine). I have had no problems with leaks or picking up odors. Use this all the time to take chili to pot lucks. No spills like I've had with slow cookers!

Have not used the sealing ring yet. I bought is a a replacement to have on hand. I remember from the pressure cooking on top of the stove that the sealing ring was the most important part of the process and based on the reviews, picked this one. I like the silicone lid. It fits my 6 qt inner pot snugly and is very heavy duty.

The product itself is fine, does what it’s supposed to do and are easy to clean. But be aware that unlike the pictures shown and mentioned in some review comments, the shipped product doesn’t include a seal any more. So, not that good a value any more.

GREAT bundle. The sealing ring works like the original. The cover is nice and tight so I feel confident that it will not pop off and spill my goods everywhere! GREAT price as well. For all of you who are new to the Instant Pot rage, a second pot is necessary so having a lid for the pot is a must!

I've been using my instant pot pressure cooker for over a year now, and this is such a necessary accessory. Before, I would be using plastic wrap to cover my pot in the fridge which was both ineffective and flimsy. This lid is very easy to clean and use. I love using it to cover my pot when I have any sort of leftover food I've made. It is not 100% sealing, so I cannot tip the pot and expect it to keep everything in, so that is something to keep in mind. It fits my 6qt great. I do wish it was just a bit more firm, but I'm glad I ordered this product. The sealing ring sits great in the lid and works just like the one that came with my pot. - Lisa
