NO JOKE!!
I have to say I am not a groomer by any means but... I plugged these in and start shaving my goldendoodle that has extremely thick hair plus mats here and there. I have always borrowed sheep shears to cut her hair. And it usually takes 2 hours maybe more. Once I start cutting I didn't stop cause it was cutting through the hair and mats like butter. I was done in roughly 30 maybe 45 minutes. These are for real! There good, great, and awesome. Quiet and don't bug the dog. Usually fight trying to keep her still but she laid down. I was fighting to get her to flip over instead to do the other side. Like I said I'm no groomer by any means but dang! Well worth the money.

Excellent experience from the seller
While researching the clippers and what to buy, I came across many cheap ones in the $19 to $27 range. I also came across a "professional" clipper made by Walh which at that time was roughly $60 but didn't have all the other accessories with it. With this product, I got a Comb included, not to mention that I got a small bottle of oil, which made it at least getting started fast rather than waiting for another package from Amazon. (Incidentally, I did order a bottle of Wahl professional blade oil, which was cheap enough for impulse buying! However, that package apparently got lost in transit so Amazon, automatically, sent me a replacement. So it took a while longer for me to receive that oil. So, the small bottle of oil was a great help!).Once I opened the package, everything was included as shown in the photo -- Clippers, Charger, 2 interchangeable combs, Steel comb and oil. I am not knowledgeable enough to say whether the blade was actually stainless steel etc., but it looked solid. The clipper handle itself felt a little flimsy made of cheap plastic. But, overall, the product looked great.I have a small Shitzu with about an inch of hair which I wanted to clip to about 3/4-of an inch making them smaller and manageable to avoid matting. The clipper seemed to function as expected (but please do read & follow the guidelines and instructions). The blades did their job, even though I screwed up the hair being the first I have ever held any type of clipper, dog or human, in hands! What happened after is the real story here. After I was all done, I cleaned the clippers, put them back in the box that it came in. A while later, I heard a small "pop" from inside the box. It was a bit far so I was not sure what happened. I opened the box, and noticed that the blade had come out of the clipper and all its various components came apart. So, I contacted the seller. Now this is where it is important--the seller was GREAT! They looked at the picture I sent and offered to send me a replacement blade. I just received that blade a couple of days ago and haven't used the clippers again yet. I will update this review with my findings again later, but holding back a star because of my first-time-use experience for now. But, I truly appreciated how courteous the seller was and without any fuss sent me the replacement! Buying from these types of people at least gives you some confidence that you won't be cheated out of money!!

This by far is the worst pair of clippers I have every used
This by far is the worst pair of clippers I have every used. The only thing positive I can say about it is that it is very quiet but probably because it doesn't do anything. Maybe its for dogs without curls but on my toy poodle these things don't clip a thing and sometimes even get snagged in his fur. I have allergies to dogs so it forces me to groom my dog at home and I've never had an issue with grooming him until I used these clippers. Going back to the cheap basic clippers - I just couldn't resist all the great reviews and thought I would splurge and try something new. Mistake. Also thought maybe I just wasn't used to them - I have tried 3 times and same result every time. I keep my dogs hair trimmed very short and like to trim him every 2 weeks so this set of clippers should of had an easy time doing what it needed to do. Not the case. Buyer beware on this one. It's going straight in the trash.

Recommended for thick coarse hair
These has to be one of the best clippers I have used in a long time. My dog has very coarse, thick, semi curly, also has a undercoat. I have 3 sets of clippers that I spent well over a hundred dollars for that would barely go through his fur. These clippers cut through it with a gaurd on! They r super easy to clean, which is a huge plus for me. They charge fast and stay charge for a long time. Used it on both my dogs without having to charge between dogs. Only thing is I have not found where you buy replacement parts, like blades extra at yet.

Got 2 pairs. One is great, other is not usable.
My brother and I both groom professionally. Got a pair of these for each of us as a back up to our regular clippers. Mine have been good for doing spot work or shorter cuts on dogs that do not have thick coats. These clippers cannot cut thick coats and the guards catch horribly if trying to use for longer cuts, but they do hold a charge well and are quieter than my Andis Ultraedge clippers. I do like the ability to adjust the blade from about a #30 length to a #9 in increments without stopping. The longer length tends to work better for me. I only paid $40 for these, so I'm happy. However, my brother's blade section completely fell apart the first time he tried to clean it. I'm positive that this was not due to mishandling, as he has been grooming with and cleaning similar equipment for years. He had a professional blade sharpener/clipper repair person look at them, and they were not fixable; it appears that there was a defect in the assembly from the start.

Don't waste your money
Awful clippers. The blade cannot be changed so when blunt the whole thing needs to be chucked and replaced. Even using for first time out of the box the clippers were cutting blunt on a short haired dog that just needed tidying up. Don't waste your money.
